I’m really happy with this attic stairway insulation cover. It was very easy to install, and it fits well over the stair opening without any gaps. Right away I noticed a big difference in keeping the warm air inside and blocking drafts from the attic. The material feels durable and well-made, and the zipper makes it simple to open and close whenever I need to go up to the attic, it’s a great upgrade to improve home insulation and save a little on energy bills. Easy installation using a staple gun. It fit well. Took 15 minutes to put in. Replaced an old, floppy, fiberglass insulation, tent-like blanket that did the trick for a 14 years. I expect this will last as long since it is made well. Since the hole to the attic is sealed while you staple it in place, you can install it in the middle of winter and not lose much heat.

Perfect size for the attic access. Very easy to install. The insulation appears to be of solid quality and it was very apparent how effective it was when installing. I installed on a colder day and was sweating while finishing up with the stapling. The zipper quality seems reliable as well. The insulation thickness is quality. I hope it increases our energy efficiency as we have two AC returns in adjacent rooms to the attic access point. Our kids rooms typically have a 4-5 degree variance from the thermostat which is super frustrating. I did take a few before and after pictures with the temp gun and noticed a few degrees difference immediately (the 69.2 degree reading was without the tent installed, 79.1 was directly after install and closing the access). I would recommend this product and buy it again.

I can't believe I put off installing this for as long as I did. It took me maybe 10 minutes to set it up and the stapler that came with it worked perfectly. The material is thinner than I thought it would be and the zipper feels a bit weak and I worry that over time one of the two zipper pulls will pull right off. The product provides more than enough staples. I could have easily doubled if not tripled up the number of staples I ended up using. Even though the material is light it has done a great job blocking cold air from getting into the house. The size looks like fits a typical pull down ladder set up. There is a little bit of play that can be taken up with staples if need be.

The size is a perfect fit for standard staircases to the attic. There is no adhesive so to install this you need a basic staple gun. Instructions say to put a staple every 4-6 inches to create an airtight seal. The material itself is not very thick but it has great insulation factor. It only took me 10 minutes to install. Very easy. The seal is dependent on how well you fit the edges and staple to the frame. The trick is to close any gaps so that no air escapes. So far I would say this is a great buy as I do not feel the cold air coming down on my head which would indicate that hot air during the winter is escaping up into the attic.

After years of using a variety of attic covers that did not really work, we decided to try this one. It was easy to install and works better than any others we have had. One suggestion I would make is, once you have it in place use some canned foam or caulk and put it around the box where it attaches to the opening. This will ensure any even tighter fit. We have seen a difference with it on, and I would highly recommend it! The price was affordable too.

I stapled this cover up before installing the attic ladder, so I had to pull it up and restaple it after installing the ladder. I didn’t notice any tears where the staples was removed. It’s easy to use, it fit my opening perfectly, and it has made a huge difference in sealing off the cold air from the attic.

This is an excellent product to insulate attic entrance and reduce energy waste. Extremely easy to install. User friendly

Die Qualität des Produktes ist gut. Leider ist die Höhe nicht ausreichend....nach 2maligem Schließen der Treppe haben die Scharniere das Produkt zerstört. Unbedingt die Höhe der eingeklappten Treppe ( Scharniere ) beachten.
