Wish I would have bought one of these sooner. I tried cutting my son's hair early on, but my noisy clippers definitely made it a chore. To be honest, I don't think the noise is the only thing that bothers him, as it is just running a vibrating thing over and around his head. However, as far as sound goes, these are surprisingly quiet compared to conventional clippers. I'd say this does make it easier to cut his hair though, because It's easier to distract him with some cocmelon and the included toy pieces. I received the clippers yesterday, and tried them right out of the box without an initial charge. The light is still green on the clippers. I can't speak to longevity since I've only used once. The size is fairly compact. About 6 inches long. And the tip doesn't cut/scratch, or pinch that I could tell from use. This is also an advantage compared to the 2 whal trimmers that I've used for years on my own hair. They can irritate/cut the skin if pushed against the edge of the blade.The only con I see as of now, is the limited clipper gaurds. You're only gonna get a very short cut with these. I'm gonna try to hold the pieces of my other kits onto these clippers to get a longer cut . I would gladly pay more for these if they came with some longer gaurds.To achieve the longer cuts, I just scooped his hair in-between my fingers and ran the clippers across. This did ok, but would appreciate the consistency of a good gaurd. Certainly not a deal breaker, as all the clippers in this style seemed about the same in their offerings of gaurds.

Wish I purchased these clippers sooner. I have a 4 year old autistic son who has severe fear over getting his hair cut. However these are a game changer! They cut very easily, were not extremely loud and very low vibration.

Love love love this!!!!!!! My son is almost two and a half. He has so much hair and it’s so thick that he requires a haircut every four weeks. Six weeks is pushing it. It’s so hard to go to the salon that often and he’s officially to the age that he hates hair cuts. I ordered this and wow. Just wow! I have zero experience cutting hair. In fact, when I told my mom I was going to start cutting his hair she was partially laughing and partially concerned. This little trimmer is bad ass. SO EASY to use! So much quieter than salon trimmers! It works really well and I loveeee all the guards that came with it and actually had fun playing with the lengths. His hair turned out so cute and better than most haircuts I’ve paid for. My son was not intrigued by the little airplane and other toys, he threw those at the wall. But I kept suckers in his hands and he was fine with getting a trim. I can’t believe this product is so cheap!

This was more quiet than usual ones but my son can still hear it and it bothers him. He would not let me cut his hair at all so I tried my best. Cut pretty easily. No hassle. I did have to go over some spots multiple times but my kid was moving a lot and did not make it easy at all. Over all, okay product. Not the greatest but it isn’t the worst. It gets the job done.

My son absolutely hates getting haircuts. He still hated it with this lol but i managed to cut his hair super fast with this clippers.

I originally bought this product in 2020 during the pandemic to cut my autistic son's (thick coarse curly) hair during the shutdown. These clippers really are lower in volume and don't snag hair. I wouldn't label it as "ultra-quiet." It still has a buzz to it. Just much lower than other brands and those in the barbershops. It doesn't turn hot after a few minutes of use either. I do a simple buzzcut because I don't know how to do anything else with boys' hair. My son moves a lot during haircuts, and I was scared of him getting cut as he has with other expensive popular clippers that state they don't cut skin. That will NOT happen with this product. No cuts in 4 years. It really is waterproof and easy to clean. The only reason I had to purchase this item again 4 years later is because I tripped, and the clippers went airborne hitting almost every hard item in its path before slamming on the floor. And still to say how well-made this product it...the actual clippers didn't break...just the attachment that has the blades. I couldn't find that one piece sold separately for these exact clippers. Don't let the lightweight feeling and what seems to appear as cheap plastic fool you. This product if cleaned and stored properly will last a long time. Definitely recommend.

The clippers are actually great and super quiet however it is impossible to blend boys hair as it only come with sizes 0.3,6,9, and 12. yes, maybe it’s my own fault and I should have paid more attention before buying it, but just want to warn other people with this review. You CANT blend hair with this sizes of attachment. Also the numbers are white on white and are very very hard to read. Otherwise, the clippers are ok.
