Im Hooked
All I can say is my Son, my mom, and I love this, it tastes exactly like napoleon ice cream but without the brain freeze and cold mouth. If you would love to try this addicting dry ice cream but don't want to buy 15 pack I know that some Old Navy stores carry them and in different flavors they are usually located by the registers where all the little nicknacks are. Also if you live in Boston I know for a fact you can get this at the Science Museum but if you do decide to purchase this its worth $36-$39 because usually at stores for one is $4.99. No lie this is my 4th pack in just 2 months, I know a little to much but Im hooked. Best quality in my opinion never had an expired ice cream or any other problems, also YES this do come crushed but its not the fault of the distributor no matter where you purchase this they all come like that, you must be a luck cookie if you get one somewhat intact but they come wrapped in a white packaging thats packed in the big astronaut packaging. And don't be worried if you see all the inner white packaging already precut for easy opening so the product doesn't fall allover the place.

Heaven at Room Temperature
I feel kind of like an idiot when I found out I could make this stuff in my own frost free freezer; just put a dehydrator tray in the freezer to get it down to temperature, slice off your favorite ice cream, then wait a week for it to dehydrate, and seal it up. Duh! But on this particular product, it is very good. There's a touch of crunchiness in freeze dried ice cream, then the smoothness as it melts on your tongue. Very, very good. You might think about making your own, though. It's a whole lot cheaper and you're not limited to a very few types. I am going to try to freeze dry some orange sherbert, which I have a thing for. If you don't have the time or patience though, this is the thing for you! PS: .7 ounces doesn't sound like much, but I was barely able to finish off one package.

Awesome
I was first introduced to astronaut ice cream about 2-3 years ago and it is amazing and really fun to eat. I have a 4 & 8 year old boys and a 15 year old nephew that love these. They definitely are quite different from a real scoop of ice cream out of the freezer, but it is only in texture and the experience. I have since ordered these to give out at Christmas time for my son's classmates. I thought this would be a totally unique, great, and affordable gift for all of them and am sure most of them have not had this before. I definitely think everyone should try this at least once and if you don't want to buy the 15 packages you can order them individually and there's different flavors too. (There are 25 kids in the class so I ordered 2 of the bulk and then I'll have some left over for my nephew, boys, myself & husband).

tasty
It is a tasty treat as long as you have an open mind regarding food preps. The nine year old didn't think too much of them but that is okay. I won't have to worry about the kids wasting or gobbling them up.If you want a unique tasty treat on-the-go then you might like these "ice cream" bars. The texture is dry and chalky. The flavor kicks in as they melt in my mouth. The flavor is rich and creamy. The individual "neapolitan" flavors are distinct. Chocolate tastes like chocolate, Strawberry like strawberry and vanilla is likewise vanilla.Well done, a little pricey, but I like it.

Will take you to outer space!
At first i was a little afraid that i was getting TOO MUCH astronaut ice cream, but that was not the case. I was also worried with what my neighbors would think, seeing so much astronaut ice cream. They might think I am a sad slob eating 2000 calorie Hungry Man TV dinners every night followed by a 2 liter of mountain dew, looking to top off my slobbishness with some nostalgic dessert in the form of astronaut ice cream. But my fears were wrong! 15 packs of astronaut ice cream is not enough. I got it a week ago and I already ate 10 of them. Really I should have doubled my order. It was also a hit at work, everyone was totally envious of me and my sweet ice cream. All killer not filler as I always say.

Not Gluten Free
While there is a big disclaimer on this item here at Amazon that they're not responsible for the packaging being correct, yada, yada... The issue I have with this product is that the manufacturer's website lists it as gluten free, with no caveats or qualifiers (the manufacturer also appears to be the seller here). It's only after you order 15 of these for a birthday party that you realize 1/3 of the kids can't even eat them because they are indeed "produced in a facility that processes wheat". Sad panda. :(They get 3 stars for being a fun food, and because it could have been worse (no documentation on packaging of contamination). But in this day, it's just crucial that companies realize they can't throw around the term gluten free so nonchalantly.

So DELICIOUS!!!!
These are kind of my favorite food. They make great little desserts for me (since I love the unique combination of crunchy and creamy), especially because they're only 120 calories per pack! And they make for special treats for my kids. I just love having a stash of this in the house. And being a huge fan, I can say this is just as tasty as any brand you can buy, but at a better price per pack!

Ate the entire box in one night - no regrets
This is exactly like the stuff I got as a kid when we went on field trips in elementary school. The only problem is now you can buy an entire case of it, and can also consume the entire case in a couple days. But hey, that's one of the privileges of being an adult. You can eat an entire box of Astronaut Ice Cream for dinner. And trust me, this is the kind you want to get.
