Skip 'em. Feeble.
The first 2 stakes I pulled out of the package both bent while being hammered into the ground. These were supposed to replace my nearly 10 year old stakes and I was able to put those old ones in the same ground without any problem. Cheap.

Not very strong material
Wasn't impressed with this product. I purchased the stakes to help hold down some chicken wire in my flower beds. The soil is actually very soft so I was worried that I would have trouble getting the stakes to hold. Unfortunately I had the opposite problem. I was bending the stakes when I pushed them into the ground with my bare hands. These stakes are way too flimsy for my use.

Lightweight but not sturdy
Cheap aluminum. Great if you want lightweight for backpacking or something like that, and if you don’t have roots or rocks where they’ll be used. That’s not my situation. I bought these because I needed small diameter to stake down a set of tiki torches, but couldn’t find steel. Three of eight bent from hitting rocks the first time I used them.

Many Different Uses
I was looking for a way to keep my dogs from trying to dig under chain link fencing that was both strong and affordable. These tent spikes seem to be doing the trick.I pounded them into the ground then crimped them over and so far so good. They are very strong and it was hard for me to bend them. They go 9" into the ground and my two 75lb boys gave up digging so far. There are lots more expensive ways to do this but getting creative you never know what you can accomplish for a lot less money.

Excellent light duty ground stake or peg
I needed these to peg deer and bird netting to the ground. They were easily pressed into soft wet soil by hand. They were perfect for that use. These are steel stakes, not made of wire like lighter duty ground stakes.I'm not sure what the negative reviewers are trying to do with them. I presume that if you are trying to drive these in with a 20 pound sledge hammer as a substitute for railroad ties, you'd be disappointed. :(

Not for a tent
I bought these for it's heavy duty galvanized structure and light weight. I use the pegs as level pegs to adjust a camping stove. The stove is a small portable woodburning light weight stove. Two pegs support a plate for heat tabs or debris from a wood fire. The other two pegs support an alcohol stove. I modified two stoves and the pegs are removable. So the pegs are part of a cooking stove set for camping/hiking. They are used for versatility.

Did the trick
Needed something stronger to hold planter edging in place. The old plastic versions just did not hold up to the weather. Thought I would give these a try and yes, they do exactly what I needed and will last many time over than what then cheap plastic versions did. Will definitely purchase more of these as I get to the next section of the back yard

Perfect for All Those Outdoor Inflatables
Over the years, our outdoor inflatables have lasted, but the stakes have not quite stayed stored with them. These were perfect. The price was great for the quantity, and they've all stayed intact with no flyaway issues.
