Worked perfectly for my Birkenstocks
This was so easy to use - I just opened up the area where the sole had separated from the footbed, including the straps... poured some in... and spread it around with a little plastic spatula. After waiting a minute or so for the glue to get tacky I pressed them together, hard, for a few minutes - then stood in them for a few minutes more. They are now very firmly adhered. Great!

Saw this as recommended for shoes but it does so much more.
I purchased this to repair a pair of slippers, where the sole was separating. This glue was recommended by the shoe maker. Tired it and it works great. I have since tried it on the rubber bottom on a water bottle that came off, a coaster that seperated, a small tear on leather and a couple other repairs. This glue worked on everything and all are still holding. I'm sure it cannot do all, but it does so much more than just shoes. The glue is brown and dries brown, and I gave it 24 hours to cure completely but it's a good product.Satisfied customer here.

Got a bit messy, but great for crafting projects
Very strong if you use a lot of it and know how it works. However, it can get everywhere and destroy some surfaces if you're not careful.

Great cement
The best rubber cement going. I’ve had a two for about five years and instead of drying up in the tube and becoming unusable, I find uses for it every day almost. Good stuff.

Worked Great
I used this on my pair of wool slippers. The top was coming disconnected from the bottom. I used it, held it pressed shut for about 20 minutes. Then I put it down and put a heavy box on it for about 2 hours or so. My shoes are fixed and I can't even feel like there was a product put on to fix it. so happy!

It works
The product works well for gluing leather to wood to make a strop. Yes, it smells but that is temporary and goes away with curing. I will find other uses for it as well. I miss the cans that it used to come in, but I don't use it often enough so the tube is better and I will have less waste over time.
