I was skeptical of banana powder but after reading about different products I chose this one since it contains only banana fruit. I use it for smoothies. I mix it with pnut butter powder and a small bit of honey, then add kefir or plain yogurt and stir well - I use water to thin to desired consistency. Will definitely buy again, the smell is good and the flavor tastes like bananas!

I decided to bake banana nut bread to give as gifts at holiday time. Then I neglected to buy enough bananas to fulfill my recipe needs as well as early enough to give them enough time to ripen for baking.My solution was this 100% organic dehydrated banana powder. Assuming three bananas per loaf, and using the enclosed scoop equaling one scoop per 1/4th of a banana; that would be 12 scoops. The container contains 22 scoops. I used 11 scoops in each batch and was able to bake two 5 X 8 inch loaves from each jar of powder. My banana nut bread was a great success and the intensity of the flavor was perfect. I baked six loaves from three jars of powder and everyone loved them. Fresh bananas would have been much less expensive but I also didn't need to worry about the bananas over-ripening, if I needed to bake my recipe over a span of several days without needing repeated trips to the grocery store.It's a wonderful product and I can't wait to try some of the other flavors.

It tastes like banana bread, but I like the flavor. I also love how it thickens up yogurt. Wish it wasn't so pricey.

Not a fan of the taste. I like bananas in different ripeness. Almost green to mushy and you have to freeze them. It just didn’t taste like I expected. The powder was so weak tasting even following the directions

The flavor is great and I love that it comes with a scoop. But if you don’t consume it right away what you put this in it gets very thick and creamy. If that’s what you want, then perfect, we just had a hard time with some things. If you want to add it to pancake mix then add some extra water or almond milk to the batch to even out the thickness.

This container isn't air tight so the powder turned into brick within a few days of being opened. Bummer.

I love using this banana product in Smoothies. It has an awesome flavor and adds so much texture to anything you blend it with. For me, it is so much better and convenient than trying to keep fresh bananas around. I will be buying more of this as it makes any smoothie better.
