I use these in my Pelican cases. They are easy to use and to reset.

The only thing that’s a little annoying is how often these need to be recharged in the oven (I live in Seattle). Other than that they’ve worked great!

I've never been completely sure how well these things actually work. I have a safe that attracts moisture. When I'm in there and remember to check, I usually find they've changed color.So I bake them in the slow-cooker, and buy a couple new ones besides.Maybe someday I'll conduct an experiment to see how much water they actually take out of the air, and how long they really last in a humid environment, but for now, I'll probably keep doing what I have been, until there's no longer any room in my safe for documents.

We had a musty smell in our safe and it felt more humid than it should have been- this cleared it up immediately and I love that we can reuse these! Also great because kids and pets don’t think it’s a snack (which the typical other packaging looks like).

They do what they are designed to do, but they are small and need recharging pretty frequently. Unfortunately, they must be dried at 250 F for 3 hours -- a very long time for such small items. I will be replacing them with the kind that can be dried out in the microwave.

These are indispensable. I like to keep them around- you never known when they’ll be useful.Get your phone wet? Turn it off and put it in one of these canisters for a few hours and watch the water as it’s pulled out and into the silica.Damp smell in a pantry? Or a fridge? Or even a freezer? These are a big help in all kinds of unexpected situations.Anecdotally, they’re even helpful in biochemistry to accelerate liquid reduction in a contained environment (like a vacuum chamber). The color changing silica can be purchased elsewhere but these aluminum containers are very convenient and the color change is easy to quickly identify at a glance. As well, you can reactivate the silica near indefinitely.I keep three of these in my drawer with batteries, candles and the other things you don’t expect to need but plan for anyway. Murphys Law makes these indispensable.

So far so good. No issues. I didn’t know that I have such high humidity. It turned green in few days.

These are working as described and are very useful - especially the way you can put them in the oven to refresh them.

These do not absorb any notice worthy amount of moisture. Also, the process to heat them for hours in an oven for reuse is impractical and not environmentally friendly.
