Dick and his son explain everything on what and how they did in their farm.And when I mean everything I mean EVERYTHING.I found most of the topics and more that I was researching for months on the internet, starting from how to raise chickens to how to build a hydroelectric dam out of your creek on your land.Best book I purchased for a while.

Enjoyable book and plenty of easy to read information. But one really annoying thing about it is it's about a uk family, set in the uk but really oddly refers to all it's financial information in cents and dollars. We don't have "Labor" or all of the considerable other Americanisms. Purely from that angle, most confusing but a good read all the same. Why Americanise a UK market book???
