Purchased this to "cut the cord" and watch local stations OTA. After reading several reviews and watching numerous videos from the "Antenna Man" I choose this model. It's worked out GREAT and the picture quality OTA is full HD. I couldn't be happier with this antenna.

We are only 16 miles from the transmitting antenna for RF channel 8, but there is a hill in between. This is the third antenna we tried and the only one that worked. We would've saved a lot of time, money, and hassle, by buying this one first.

I live in an area that has TV stations almost all the way around me and I live in a area that has hills all around. This antenna is doing a wonderful job.

I installed it high in my attic and got no stations even when using The Juice pre-amp. Called tech support who suggested I move it outdoors. When I did, I got 26 channels at ground level. After mounting it on the roof, I got 80 channels. Turns out the insulation in my attic has a foil backing. Insulation is on the attic floor and on the underside of the roof. I learned that my house is in a cocoon of tin foil. At least I no longer need to wear that tin foil hat.

For what it's worth, played with the antenna on the main floor (ranch house) and received 6 channels pretty good. Mounted in the attic and picked up 60+ stations. Some were duplicates like Fox HD and Fox SD, etc. Sling TV scanned and accepted over 40 channels. Pretty good for a small rural Louisiana town of 70K residents! Handy to have HD & SD duplicates when storms come through, HD may not be watchable but SD may be tolerable. Take the time t.

Mounted on top of my house. I'm between 40-50 miles away from the broadcast towers and was able to get 30+ channels. I'm sure with more fine tuning I could get a few more. Overall seems to be good quality and works as advertised.

I'm able to pick up more channels when compared to a leaf window antenna, but some local channels still freeze frame. Had to put it in the attic..... roof mounting would likely fix this.

when assembling screws to vhf Atenas screws would not thread in very far so i had to use a couple of my own washers otherwise very easy to put together. getting more channels and better clarity.

I bought this to replace my ClearStream 2V that looks like half of this but I hoped the additional gain would help stabilize a couple one-bar UHF channels. While it's built better than the 2V, I didn't notice any appreciable difference in signal quality. Also the UHF has a high gain, while the VHF has low gain. It seems bizarre to have a UHF antenna designed for 70+ miles with a VHF antenna rated at 30 miles. I'm 65 miles from two different transmitters.

Very disappointed in this product, we were only able to capture 2 channels! $80.00 Pretty expensive for 2 local channels! We ended up making our own from a YouTube video and was able to capture 5 channels which cost a total of $3.00!

Indoor,a little better than my amplified RCA UHF loop/VHF dipole combo antenna.Rooftop,not sure,haven't tried.It looks attractive indoors and out.

My DIY HD antenna gets better range than this junk, save yourself money and make one yourself.
