Highest recommendation for clearing and uplifting energy and scent
This incense was developed for members of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC. In fact it was available to members only until recently. The fragrance is a lovely blend of frankincense, sandalwood, myrrh, balsam, rose flowers and buds, and India moss rose oil. This is the nicest smelling incense I have come across. The fragrance is not only pleasant, but clarifies and clears the room to a higher energy. I have burned one cube early in the day and then hours later, had company notice and comment on the incense scent as they entered my home. The incense comes in rectangular "cubes". There are two layers of cubes, twenty-four in all. The cubes are rather dry and pieces crumble off easily, so handle it over your storage box so the scented pieces fall back into the box. When lighting the cube, light one end and let that end burn until the flame goes out by itself. I then stand the cube on the other end on a fire proof, good sized incense burner, away from children, pets and billowing curtains. The box of incense also pleasantly scents the drawer you store the box in. A funny, and kind of embarrassing thing happened once due to the long-lasting scent of the incense that I keep stored in a drawer. I always keep an envelope for AMRA in the same desk drawer as the incense. AMRA is the Rosicrucian practice of "as you give, so shall you receive." Whenever anyone receives a special blessing such as someone you care for is healed, or something you had visualized, or prayed for, manifests, and so on, you put some money in the AMRA envelope to pass on to someone in need. Well, I usually donate to charities and rather than sending cash I usually send a check. So the AMRA cash had been in the incense drawer for quite some time. One day I was late in meeting a friend to attend a local play. I had no time to stop at an ATM machine, so I borrowed some cash from the AMRA envelope and left myself an IOU. I met my friend, bought my theatre ticket, but the sweet elderly lady selling the tickets would not let me go. She kept asking me, "What do you do to your money? I never smelled money like this. It smells so good!" as she was deeply inhaling the bills I had given her. At first I had no idea what she was talking about. It was very embarrassing. Then she insisted again, "What did you do to your money to make it smell so good?" My friend and everyone around us were staring at me. I just wanted to be seated for the play, and then I realized she was right-- the bills must have been scented by the incense--I had not realized it before. The nice part is any papers, books, linens, clothes, and so on, will be scented over time, just by being stored with this incense.

Mmmmm...Such a Heavenly Scent of Rose
If you're into the fragrance of roses like I am, you may want to give this India Moss Rose Incense product a try. This incense comes in the form of miniature bricks instead of cones, but you burn them basically the same way:• Light one of the two smaller ends• Wait a few seconds to allow the flame to create a glowing ember• Blow out the flame• Place the incense brick into the burner, glowing-ember-side up.• Enjoy the pleasant aromaThese burn very clean for about 20 minutes with a minimum of smoke. The fragrance won't punch you in the face like Indian incense often does, but rather, it will gently kiss you on the cheek, creating a nice afterglow and feeling of warmth, and the rosy fragrance will linger for a couple of hours. I have a lot of rose-scented incense, but this is my go-to product. The scent from this incense is nothing short of heavenly.

Absolutely purchase this item!
The first time I experienced the smell of this incense was way back in 1990. This is gone before the Internet era. So, finding where this item was widely sold, was very difficult. This item is worth every penny. It doesn’t have a harsh smell to it does not require you to use a lot of cubes to fumigate the area. They have nothing toxic in the incense.

Wonderful and Long Lasting
This used to only be available at Rosicrucian Park. I was surprised and excited to see it here on Amazon! Long lasting scent that is never fake or chemical smelling. It's perfect for your studies (if you are into that) or just to make your house smell great. I have been buying this stuff whenever and wherever I could get it for years. I definitely recommend!

Rosicrucian Incense
This is a nice vintage style incense, insomuch in it’s construction; “brick” and square incense were common in the 1920s and 1930s, as well as loose incense powders. Making this a good choice for those interested in old styles of incense that aren’t commonly manufactured anymore. The bricks are deep red and textured, filled with a wonderful resinous roast scent. It’s quite strong, and they do perfume the hands when handling. A draw back is that the base material can fleck off. So handling with kid gloves is recommended. I personally didn’t experience others frustration with lighting them. As it was mentioned you need to keep working to get the them going, which I didn’t find hard, it’s similar to lighting Palo Santo really. While I agree that there is an initial “burnt wood” smell when burning them, which I don’t find that unpleasant (it’s closer to a resinous burn), after the space is perfumed with a delicate rose scent. It not what you would call heady, it’s subtle. As this is intended to be a meditative and spiritualist type incense, so it’s purpose/formulation wouldn’t be to overwhelm the senses.Keep in mind to burn these in something heatproof, a good incense burner designed for loose incense will do the trick. The kind with wire mesh, or with insulating sand. These get hot!If you’re going for a powerful - might I say - modern incense, this likely wouldn’t be the best option. However, if you’re looking for unusual incense, older styles of incense, or are looking for incense to use as a spiritual product, this is a nice addition to one’s collection.

Good Smell, Good Replacement for charcoal
It smells good. Nice crisp rose smell. Total burn time of one block is about 30 mins in total. Rose smell lingers for a bit after. It's not super strong but it is noticeable. If you do smudging and use charcoal block as a starter use these the same way you would a charcoal block. It can burn sage and cedar the rose smell can still be smelled even when you use it this way. You can also burn it on its own as incense.
