Use this on some aluminum parts didn't want to anodize the aluminum and this really worked great just keep applying several cards to get to the desired darkness

Awesome, as always.
Used it once again on an item that I can't mention on here, and it works very well. Got a scratch? Use this! Got a complete raw aluminum something that you want to have a nice black finish? Use this! Stuff is awesome. Free tip: purchase some Preval sprayers and pour this into the bottle. Put your mask and gloves on and go to work. In very little time, you'll have a product that looks great. The Preval uses a minimal amount of liquid, and it allows you to have equal coverage over large areas. It may show wear quickly, but that is just another part of the cool factor. Just make sure you do at least three coats, washing in between. Oh, and another tip, you can take your gloved finger and brush it along the big areas to redistribute the liquid for better coverage. Works for me. Follow me for more useful tips. Lol.

Works well for its intended use, appears I got a returned item as new
My issue is that I seem to have received a returned item when I paid for new. The seal on the bottle was compromised and there was hair under the cap. I suspect the first person used what he needed and returned the rest. I did peel off most of the Amazon label on the bottle since it was covering the instructions. Though it didn't work for my application, I tested it on a aluminum soda can and it does work. I can't fault the product for not working on something it wasn't designed for, so though I really couldn't give it five stars, less than four would be unfair. I was hoping it would work on the scratched lens cap shutter on a Sony RX100MIII. I took a chance, and it didn't work.

Excellent product
I used this stuff on an expensive camera lens. It worked perfectly. It will work equally well on guns. Unlike paint, It covers blemishes without making them look touched up. I'll always keep it handy.

Works well
Chemical blackener for aluminum. Apply and let set. Wash when done or wipe with a wet cloth to kill the chemical action. You can reapply to darken the color.

just the thing to fix scuffed up aluminum parts
Good product. does what it says i.e darkens aluminum . I work on bikes and frequently have black aluminum parts that are scuffed up with bare aluminum showing through. A dab of this on the bare metal will darken it considerably making it more presentable.

Make aluminium go black. Good for dressing up some aluminium parts.

A better alternative to using spray paint or markers to hide those ugly white letters on Umarex air pistols Just make sure to scrub the area with an old toothbrush with rubbing alcohol or solvent de greaser. Apply with a Q tip and watch it darken to an almost black, like 90% If the pistol is made of an aluminum alloy, then I tend to use this in combination with Suber BLUE from Birtchwood ,

Fast, but some previous work are needed. Not black and sturdy like anodizing, but to touch up some spots it's way good enough

Super est très pratique pour empêcher les vis de dévissé

I know and use this product since ... several decades! Once you have learned and understand how to use it, it becomes essential. Nothing more simple to touch-up scratches, or even a saw cuts on raw aluminum. It avoids paint touch up.
