Good plants, do not believe reviews.
These seeds are everything I expected. It is quite obvious that these are not carpeting plants like Monte Carlo, but when done correctly they can still make a nice carpet in your fish tank. All these bad reviews are mainly from people who do not know how to actually grow these plants and blame the seeds for not growing. Even people who say that their animals died, most likely did something wrong in their end. Many people are stating that the slime and smell from the seeds is unbearable, but the slime that comes from the seeds is normal and should be expected, same thing with the smell. When done correctly, the slime will not be an issue and your tank can remain clean. The price for these seeds are not bad, considering if done properly, will get you a nice carpet. The size of the seeds are very small so you should get a good amount of sprouts. There are no instructions to planting but a few videos worth of research should make planting and sprouting these very easy. All in all, these seed are easy to grow as long as you do it correctly, which is by doing the dry start method.1. Get a substrate like Fluval stratum or any other nutrient filled aqua soil for plants, NOT gravel or sand. You can help add nutrients to the soil by adding root tabs. Make sure you start with a tank with NO WATER. A tank with water will not be successful.2. Spray down the tank with a spray bottle to get the tank moist and humid for the plants, you can help add nutrients to the tank by putting aquarium plant fertilizer, like seachem flourish, in the spray bottle mixed with water and use that to mist down the tank.3. Sprinkle the seeds all over the soil, making sure its is a thin layer and try to avoid creating large clumps of seeds. Make sure the soil is wet first so the seeds can stick to the top of the soil. The seeds WILL create a slime so they can stick to the top of the soil, this is normal. Make sure you do not put any soil over the seeds, keep the seeds exposed.4. After successfully adding the seeds, place Saran Wrap over the top of the tank to keep the humidity in, at this point, there should be nutrient-rich soil, seeds, and the tank should be heavily sprayed down with water. Spray the tank with water 2-3 times a dayand remove the Saran Wrap for 15-30 minutes a day to encourage air flow and prevent mold. After doing this daily for a week or two, you should begin to see sprouts. This is a basic guide to the dry start method for these plants, of course, research more on the dry start method. And no, this is not AI, I typed this all myself.

Not as advertised!
I’m going to be as detailed as I can with this review. TLDR the plants that actually grow are NOT the ones in the advertised photos. The germination process was fine for me. I planted my seeds in fluval plant stratum in a container.I kept my seeds very damp and covered the container with a lid until they started to germinate. Like others mentioned, there is a slimy phase of this. After it grew a little, I transplanted the sprouts to my tank. This process was not entirely successful as most of the sprouts found their way into my filter. It has been 5 months since I planted these. Overall, it created a huge mess in my tank and wasn’t worth the hassle. What has grown is not what was advertised. The cute little sprouts kept growing into a tangled mess. Totally unrecognizable.I’m pretty disappointed as I was so patient with this process. I do not recommend.I’ve finally removed all of it and decided to leave this review to hopefully help save you some trouble.

What worked. If you want this to work for you Updated: 3/22/24
3/15/24:I never leave reviews on items but this was a first for me germinating plants I struggled while I tried to collect information which I should have done prior to beginning of seeding that’s where I went wrong.Foremost if you want these plants to be rooted strong and healthy follow these instructions.1. Have a good light especially one made for plants do not germinate in an established aquarium it’s gonna get messy these seeds will release a gel once introduced to water.2. Good substrate that they can root on to here im using fluval stratum it has activated bacteria.3. And a heat mat ranging from 72-78 degrees to place underneath the tank in the photos you see water but I just submerged into water 2 days prior posting this review. You can practically grow these plants in anything as long as they have proper lighting, heating and soil for them to grow.I seeded them above soil I never covered them with additional soil I think that’s up to you whether you want to but I didn’t. I noticed some seeds grew without soil these were seeds that was on the rocks and some stuck to glass when I seeded and what I mean is they sprouted but soon died a week later because they had no nutrients for them to mature that’s where the soil comes in.Wrap the aquarium or even a plastic tub you could even use a cup or some dish to keep them as long as they're in an humid environment. If you want to place them in an established aquarium wait until after they germinated I personally would give them at least 2 weeks in the photos that’s how long it’s been for me and I removed a section of the plant it was not messy at all and it pulled up just like a piece of carpet. I just cut around the area with a knife to shape the area I wanted gone because I will be placing decore in that area.As long as you have the 3 most important Light, warmth and substrate they will do fine.In conclusion from my experience people are leaving bad reviews on these seeds due to the fact they have no idea on how to get these little seeds to grow but if done correctly they will and mine have been fine I will leave additional details afterwards if anything changes but so far it’s worked for me and this was a first for me.Just understand to place the seeds in a proper environment and they will grow.Updated3/22/24:Final review the foreground has almost doubled in size since my last review this would be final update for this item.As you can see in the updated photos the plants became lush green and very full. I introduced co2 into the aquarium, still just below the normal levels slowly but surely it will improve for them to get the most effective benefits. Also added a submersible aquarium heater which is set at 76 degrees Fahrenheit most importantly added aquatic life which in turn when feeding increases the biodiversity for both plants and the ecosystem overall Im still very happy with my purchase I will indeed be buying from this seller again in the near future for a much larger aquarium but for now this has been very successful.

Quick growing
Beautiful. Small sized, sprouts in 3 days. I covered the tank with plastic wrap and kept it moist and heated with LED light. I have a feeling these seeds are just chia seeds and will only sprout once. But for now it looks great, almost ready for filling the tank. Good value.

Loved these
These grew so well. I fear watching it everyday makes it seem like nothing is happening but it really grew out so well. I loved how the grass allowed my fish to have a nice resting spot. There was a lot of seeds in the pack so well worth it. They were easy to put into the tank and grew so healthy looking nice and bright green. I’d buy again if I needed more to grow in a different tank.
