I gifted it to someone who wanted lock up and store a sentimental item. They were happy w it.

do you hide your money some where in your house like I do in an attempt to get a little chunk saved up? yeah it never works.... i got this hoping I could put the money in it and give the key to a friend or relative. Add money when their around but never take money out! This plan might just work..... and if there is an emergency honestly it wont take much to open this safe up but its nice because its easy to hide and it comes with screws to bolt right into a drawer (bad idea they'll just take the whole drawer) or something. I drilled mine right into my work bench behind some stuff. Its perfect for stashing and also its better to have it and possibly prevent a theft then to not have it and get screwed over. Also it would be cool to screw one in under the passenger seat of a car. whatevers clever right?

The box is solid and metal and comes with some extra goodies to secure it. However it lifts and I worry that if I had pulled too hard it would pop open.

I purchased this product for an overseas trip so I could lock up my passport, extra money, and that's about it because the thing isn't incredibly large, unlike my bowel movements. That said, this little safe did the job. My one complaint is that I was given two keys and only one worked, but I wasn't expecting two keys with the product so I guess that minimizes my disappointment. No tears, Chris. Not this time. Not again.Other reviewers have complained about the exterior pin, but considering a small child could pick this safe up and walk away with it, I'm not overly concerned about that. The safe is merely a deterrent, not something you should expect to stop seasoned criminals (seasoned meaning experienced, not seasoned as in covered with spices, although probably that, too). If you want a little something to keep away nosy family members or sticky fingered maids, then this will probably do the trick. It does beg the question, though, why does the maid have sticky fingers? Hmm...

The actual item seemed fine, but it came with the most horribly intense mothball smell ever! My husband and I were close to throwing up. No matter what I did, I could not get rid of the disgusting smell. Scrubbed it and nothing. Ran it through 2 cycles in the dishwasher, and nothing. That was a terrible idea, actually, since it stank up the dishwasher AND the house. My eyes water just thinking about it. Ended up having to use a whole bottle of white vinegar to get rid of the smell in the dishwasher. Sadly, the vinegar didn't even touch the mothball smell the safe had. The smell was so intense and so gross, and I was so angry, that I ended up just throwing out the &$@$$&@.

Very sturdy. Not too heavy since I put it my carry on when I travel. But this gives me piece of mind when I travel as it stores my passport and some credit cards/cash when I travel.

Be aware that this is a very tiny little safe, but it is pretty impregnable. I just use it for the little bit of jewelry I have left, and whatever cash I have. After being ripped off for a nearly $2000 watch, I'm not going to take any chances with the last little bit of jewelry I have, and that's why bought this. Ultimately, I think a safe deposit box is the best long-term place to keep my valuables, but when that is not necessarily a viable option, a home safe that is as impregnable as this 1 is the best 2nd option I know of.

Light weight, sturdy, lock box - I tethered it to the inside frame of my suitcase, and had peace of mind knowing that it was discreetly tucked in my luggage, while keeping my passport, cash, and medication secure in my hotel room. No trouble taking it through security or customs at all. Good value for the money; it paid for itself on the first trip I used it.

Very durable, easy to use and very handy.

Literally can break it open with my hands damn.
