I love the story of "Duskin"
I love the story of "Duskin". It's about a secretary having to take over her bosses job in another state because he was in an accident and couldn't go. She volunteered to give up her vacation to Maine that she had planned to go with two of her friends in order to take care of business for her crabby boss. she got into several different perdictaments but God seemed to help her out of them in one way or another. In the beginning she thought Mr. Duskin was in with the bad guys ao she came there to fire him but she found out different in the long run. This is the type of story I love reading of Mrs. Hill's. The book was delivered on time and in great shape. It looks like it's a new book.

Timeless Truths
Another of Grace Livingston Hill's wonderful stories. If you have not read any of her books you should try this one! It is a bit different becasue her heroine is a business woman in an era when that was practically unheard of. Grace's quaint stories may be set in another generation but the truths & issues her characters experience are similar to questions & situations that are timeless!This is entertaining & fun to read. I would urge anyone to try Grace's books. You'll find a new friend in this author. I've collected all her works in book form & am now replacing them on my Kindle. I re-read her books time & again because she never fails to lift up my spirits & give me a Good Read everytime. My Sister & daughter collect her books as well. Hope you try her out!

Good clean romance with some mild danger and mystery thrown in.
I read A LOT of GLH's books when I was younger and really enjoyed them. So I was excited to see some on sale recently for my Kindle app. I couldn't remember if I had read this one or not and thought it would be interesting because it sounded like the heroine would be a strong business woman. However, I was disappointed in the way the storyline portrayed her at first. It took me several tries to finish the book. I didn't totally dislike the book but I didn't love it. But I still have very fond memories of reading and enjoying GLH's books so I will definitely try another one. :)

GLH writes lovely stories
Always enjoy reading GLH. She takes me back to days when I was young and was learning how life worked. This is about the 15 th book I've read by GLH and I've enjoyed them all.

A wonderful, worthwhile read!
I love Grace Livingston Hill books and this was one of my favorites. It is fast paced, full of suspense and excitement, yet with the good standards of the main characters which one should seek to emulate. I was impressed with how well the author knew the logistics of construction work which adds realism to the whole story.

It is so great to find such an inspiring book in a time of trashy books. Have always enjoyed Grace Livingston Hill.

Really good
The books starts a bit slow but it begins to get faster. I like both Duskin and Carol... Carol is not the typical "I can't think for myself" girl, and she shows strength yet sweetness. Duskin is an amazingly intelligent guy and he makes you want to be the one on his arm :)
