good for all kinds of dogs!!
I like reviewing items because I do not have disposable income and I like to help people who don't want to waste their money or time. I got this bed for my three-year-old chow mix who has pretty severe hip dysplasia. this bed didn't have many reviews but after reading up on it I took the chance.wow. first of all, this bed came ready to use (didn't have to wait for it to poof up like a lot of these super padded beds) and on time. it was exactly as described (cute, unobtrusive in my smallish house) and after sitting in it myself I almost wanted to get one for myself (which I would laugh at if I read it, but seriously though.) the support and comfort is impressive and my little semi-crippled pup loves it.surprise, my sisters 160 lb, achy jointed mastiff is also OBSESSED with it. if I'm carrying it through the house he literally follows me. he will ignore the ortho bed my sister bought him and jumps for this one (even though he barely fits the medium.) honestly my only regret is that we didn't buy two, but now we know! and so do you :)if you have a dog with body pains and who needs/deserves a little extra comfort, I fully recommend this bed. this is the first dog bed I've ever bought and I'm so glad I did!

My Golden Retriver with hip dysplasia gives it 5 paws!
As soon as I took it out of the box and put her special blankie on it she laid down in it and has only gotten up once to go outside and once to eat supper....she loves it! Seems to have excellent cushioning for hips and joints.Update: ended up getting 3 more so my older German Shepgerd with bad hips and my other two Goldenseal would all have one. Though as you can see from the new pic I posted they still like to snuggle and double up in one of the beds! ;)

Nice for the Price
These are nice! I bought the Blue and the Stone colors for my 2 dogs - they just love beds with bolsters so they can curl up against them, lay their heads on them, etc. I have a 35lb sheltie mix and a 45lb Aussie, and the size works for both, though a little more snug for the Aussie. The fabric is not the most luxurious - it's a cheaper feeling synthetic that is now causing static buildup on the dogs' fur (which makes for some great midnight light shows, haha!), and the foam is just egg crate, but I have put the covers through the wash a couple of times and it has held up really well. For the price, I am definitely satisfied. I couldn't find any other beds this size, with bolsters without spending a lot more.A word of caution on the Stone color, though - I didn't realize it would be quite so light. The bid portion is ivory, nearly white, and the textured sides and arms are a light khaki so it shows a lot of dirt. If you are only buying one color, I would go for the blue/tan.

Worth every penny!
This is really the best $50.00 I have ever spent on my dog!!! She has never liked any dog bed she's ever been around... Always preferring the couch or my bed. A few weeks ago she busted up her ACL and needed surgery followed by no running, jumping, getting on furniture or steps. She's a 120lb bullmastiff and cuddling with her humans is her favorite! The first few days were rough for her and I felt so bad she didn't have a comfy place to relax anymore with these restrictions. After spending 3800 on surgery, I was very hesitant to spend too much on a dog bed I was almost certain wouldn't replace the couch and her humans laps. Well... I stand corrected!! She absolutely loves this bed! She's over 2 weeks post Op and is healing very well and still loves to lay in her new bed!!! It is worth every penny! And with prime... My was on my doorstep 2 days after purchase! If you're on the fence... You won't regret this purchase! Not to mention the material is soft, doesn't shed, the foam is sturdy and holds it's shape well under a lot of weight. The color blends well in our decor as well!

My Dog Loves this Bed
I got this bed for my hound mix and he loves it. He's about 50 lbs, the size of a small Labrador, and the medium was just right for him. He has plenty of room to spread out, though he loves to curl up against the bolsters. The mattress is about 4 inches thick and provides plenty of support. It is flat on one side and has an egg carton profile on the other. The removable covers make it easy to flip the mattress over to suit your dog's preference. We've only had this for about two weeks, so I can't speak to durability but it appears to be very well made. This is a really good value.

Nice bed, but does not hold up..
I bought this bed less than a month ago and it has already been destroyed. I have a 4 year old staffordshire terrier who is not really even a chewer. It all happened over the course of 2 days. First he tore off all the fluff from the bedding part. (I assumed he just started scratching it to get comfortable, and once he saw the fluff...well you know how dogs are...) After that it was game over. It was like a game of let's see where this fluff is coming from.I got the bed in 36x27. I have a medium size dog. He's about 40ish lbs and not very long and he definitely had a lot of extra room. I would've even gotten a smaller size. The bed is extremely comfortable and it looks sturdy, but I think it just tears too easy.

A Perfect Bed For A Dachshund
Love the dog beds by Canine Creations. These bolster beds are phenomenal.I have the brown pebble design one I bought 6 months ago, and my dog just loves it.This one is very nice too, except it doesn't seem as firm as the last one. You definitely can't go wrong for the price, and it is perfect for the ailing dog with hip or back problems. It's not too high off the ground making it easy for a dog to get in and out of.It fits my dachshund just fine, but I don't know how comfortably a bigger dog would fit in it, especially if they wanted to stretch out.

Not Memory Foam
After the great reviews I read about this bed, I was extremely disappointed with the "orthopedic" memory foam. People listen to me - this "memory foam" is just thin, cheap, egg crate. Yes, the bed looks nice but definitely not what I thought I was paying for. Should have known better for $58. If your pet really needs orthopedic memory foam, this is NOT it.
