Fits like a glove
I have had my Sony MDR-7506 for more than 8 years. Over the last year or so the ear piece plastic started to degrade and little bits of headset would appear on my face. Very uncool. So I bought these and they arrived today. It took me about 5 minutes to install them and I am going to give you quick installation tips. The flaps look long, longer than they should be. They are not, these will fit perfectly, just takes a little patience. I took a jewlers flat head screw driver and guided the flap of the new cover into the groove, bit by bit, inch by inch. Take your time and stuff the end of the flap as far is as your screw driver allows. DO one at a time. Be patient and presto! They are cushy, a little quieter than the older ones with big enough ear space for my dumbo ears.

Comforatble, easy install, encircles ears, may be better quality than the Sony pads, price is great - what more could you want?
I found a pair of Sony V7 headphones which are very similar to the Sony 7506 and V6 but supposedly better fidelity. These headphones needed new pads badly. I got these and they were very easy to install - maybe five minutes top. I have relatively large ears and these pads encircle my entire ear; they are also very comfortable. I did not experience any ear burn or any other annoyance after listening to the headphones with these pads for about two hours - that was the first time I used them. They are of a different material than the typical V6 and 7506 but I believe I like this even better. I personally would say these are better than the original covers but I guess only time will tell how well they last over the years. I would not hesitate to purchase again and plan to do so for my V6 and 7506 when the time comes for replacement with them. Maybe even before since i like these so well.

Hold up well to daily use
I've been using these now for about 6 months now on my Sony 7506 studio headphones, and they are holding up well with daily use.The fit is nice, and they are comfortable. I didn't bother sticking the edges into the little groove, they fit fine just over the rim all they way around, and are a lot easier to install that way.

Save your old Headphones
I have had a pair of Sony MDR 7506 Headphones for over 10 years now and finally decided to get some replacement ear cushions/pads for one of my older pairs. The ones from Sony and other places were simply to expensive. So I gave these a try. What a Buy. These pads fit and simply work. I'm floored by the low cost and will buy these again in a minute.

Good enough for the MDR-V7
I actually have the SONY MDR-V7 from many, many years ago. I could not find a set of replacement cushions and thought the V6/7506 cushions were close enough to try. They came much sooner than expected and were mailed directly from China. The height was right but they were not quite as wide as the originals. However, the extension fabric used to hold them on the earpieces had plenty of margin so they went on OK. The key was the review that said to fold the fabric back all the way around, hold the cushions on the earpiece and then push the fabric around the earpiece. It worked. The cushions are not as soft as the originals but I do not plan on wearing the headphones for hours. I can now use my favorite V7 headphones again.

They are still very easy to fit over the SONY MDR 7506 earpieces and ...
The ear pads I received look slightly different from the ones pictured. They are a just a little bit narrower and more elongated. They are still very easy to fit over the SONY MDR 7506 earpieces and they flex right into shape with no problem. Very comfortable when wearing the headset.

... ordering my second pair after the first cracked after like 6 months
I'm ordering my second pair after the first cracked after like 6 months, and, frankly, they sound great (the pads DO make a difference, but you'll get decent sound with these on your 7506s). I wholeheartedly recommend these, they're awesome for the price.
