MantisTiller Parts Tune Up kit with Mantis Carburetor C1U-K54A, and Gasket, Fits All New Mantis and Echo Tiller with 3-Hoses System

Kit came with everything needed. I had to trim the large flat air filter element just a bit with a scissors to make it fit just right. The one that came with kit is just a few mm too big. Replacing the old fuel tank grommet with the 3 lines took some time with a bit of WD40 and a small screwdriver as a tool. You have to adjust the length of the fuel lines a bit in and it if the grommet. The clear yellow fuel line is the fuel return line back to the tank. The new carb simply bolts on. Started on 2nd pull. Runs great.

I purchased the OEM carburetor upon reading negative reviews of the less expensive third party carburetors. The parts were correct and were easy to install. The seller forgot to enclose the air filter, but shipped it quickly when I complained about it being missing from the package. It was still necessary to adjust the low and high idle screws to get the Mantis tiller to run correctly, so if you are buying this OEM carburetor with the hope that it will work straight out of the box, don't count on it.

Bought this tune up kit last summer for a 16 year old mantis that decided to stop running. My husband never got around to installing the kit until almost October, so he decided to wait till spring to put fuel in it and test it out then. It is now April, not knowing if this kit was a winner or a complete waste of money, we filled the Mantis with fuel and with absolutely no adjustments it started right up and runs like it did when it was brand new! Both my husband and I am blown away by the results. When does this ever happen? If I could give it 10 stars I would. Two day free prime shipping. For $56 we have a $300 Mantis. Headache free.

All fit but doesn’t work. Carb refuses to prime even though there is gas feeding to it. Naturally I took it apart to see what was going on because I didn’t have time to wait for a return or replacement - mistake. Now I wont even ask to return after taking it apart. I’m sure I just got a bad one but buy at your own risk.I ended up doing all my work by hand with garden tools.

Package got lost in the mail, thanks USPS. The kit was flawless. Fired right up. Needed very minor adjustments to make it run like new. Buy this kit ! Dont waste time or money on the cheap garbage out there. This is a factory correct part.

What I really liked is once every thing was installed the tiller started with 2 pulls. Have used the tiller 2 times now and no problems starting. I opted for the original parts and glad I did. I expect many years of trouble free use.

Genuine OEM Mantis rebuild kit, not a cheap knock off part. Worked as advertised! Mantis tiller now runs like new. I didn’t even have to adjust the jet settings! AWESOMEI would highly recommend!
