Wish it’s on prime
Exactly good and spicy enough and lot of dried shrimp chunk in the too. Just wish to be on prime but probably it will be more expensive. The shipping costs is the one thing

The product came well packaged and very fast. I wanted to try just a pinch and omg! All burst of flavors!! Heaven. Also deliriously hot and spicy, I wouldn't change it for anything.

Too spicy hot!
I really wanted to like this product. Used a teaspoon as topping for rice and soup. Took out most of the chili seeds and still too spicy hot. You cannot even taste the dried shrimp but you can see some and smell it. Noted black shallots and chili skins. Overfried? There's no salt in the ingredients, the dried shrrimp would have given a little salty taste but I didn't taste it. I had to add salt and sugar to see if it improved the taste and cut down on the heat. It did not. Not for me anyway.

Taste of home....
Taste of home....I haven’t found balachang in any of the Asian stores in Charlotte so thank goodness for Amazon! This tastes fresh - it’s nicely sealed so the shallots still taste crispy. A bit pricey for the amount but I will buy it again. And again. This tastes like what my mum used to make. That is priceless...
