Juggie Likes It!
I wanted to share our wonderful experience with the Devil Dog Pet Co Yak Cheese Himalayan Dog Chew. Our English Bulldog, Juggernaut (or Juggie for short), absolutely adores these chews, and I must say, they have been quite a game-changer in his chewing habits. As any Bulldog owner knows, these furry friends have powerful jaws that can make short work of even the toughest doggie bones. In Juggie's case, a regular bone often lasts no more than a day. However, the Himalayan Dog Chew has proven to be a different story altogether. These chews have demonstrated impressive staying power, lasting several weeks in service to our Juggernaut. What's truly remarkable is how these chews hold up even against his powerful chewing. When it eventually wears down to the last bits, I've found a clever solution to ensure a satisfying finish for our beloved Juggster. A quick pop in the microwave and it puffs up, offering him a delightful final stage of chewing enjoyment. One aspect that I find particularly commendable is the chew's impact on Juggie's digestive system. Bulldogs can be sensitive in that regard, but I'm pleased to report that the Himalayan Dog Chew doesn't upset his stomach. This gives us peace of mind as responsible pet owners. Now, let's consider both sides of the coin:Pros:Durable Enjoyment: The exceptional longevity of these chews makes them a valuable investment, providing extended joy for your furry friend and saving you the hassle of frequent replacements.Microwave Magic: The fact that these chews can be microwaved to create an enticing texture shift adds an extra layer of engagement for your pet, ensuring they stay interested and entertained.Digestive Friendliness: If your pet has a sensitive stomach, these chews might be a fantastic choice, given that they are gentle on the digestive system.Cons:Initial Cost: It's worth noting that these chews might be pricier than regular alternatives, which could deter some pet owners from making the switch.Microwaving Caution: While microwaving the chew can be a great trick, it's important to ensure it's done safely to avoid overheating or uneven puffing. In conclusion, the Devil Dog Pet Co Yak Cheese Himalayan Dog Chew has certainly won the heart of our English Bulldog, Juggernaut. Its impressive durability, microwave-friendly feature, and digestive compatibility make it a strong contender in the world of dog chews. However, it's important to weigh the initial cost and use caution when microwaving. It's been a delightful addition to Juggie's chewing routine, and we hope it might bring the same joy to your furry companions.

The BEST teething/tooth cleaning aid weāve found-esp thatās ok with puppies!
This seems to be a very quality version of āyak stickā that has been a lifesaver for our new puppy as her teething has progressed!Itās a great way to keep her happily occupied for literally hours!! Might drive us a bit nuts when she gets it over to the hard floor as itās quite a racket but when she in her bed or a towel/ blanket itās only downside is that it can leave quite a mess!šš¤£Most times itās mostly crumbs to vacuum up but steer hours it can have turned all into a special paste that has proven a bit of a challenge to get out without washing the item! But couldnāt be happier!! We were blown away by the price initially!! Thatās hard to contemplate⦠aā treat ā thatās at least $7 each?!? BUT itās far more than a treat- though she is ingesting protein as she scrapes and chews with her teeth⦠but for our pup each one has lasted weeks! And weāre still using the last bits that my husband cut into like 1ā pieces to make ācheese puffā treats that is so awesome!! Useful to the last bit!Weāre very happy to support a veteran owned company as a veteran household as well and compared to others Iāve seen online since, the quality is superb!! Have only had one piece so far break of that I think away for fear it may be swallowed and was sharp⦠but she did fine with sharp edges one when it was dropped pretty far along and had a clean break meaning her normal chewed point on the end! She just nawed it down to what it was before the break in no time!Def 2 paws up!!š¾š¾ Amazing find⦠tool⦠treat⦠toy! šš„°Fyi- my new vet at her recent first apt, seemed quite thrilled when I told him that she had been using these for teething for over a month now!! Perfect was his comment!! š¤ā¤ļøš

Great Product; Happy Dog
This Yak chew is a great product from a good company. We had to stop using it. I rescued a one year old eighty pound German Shepard mix from our local shelter who had been "unaddopted" or abandoned several times because it was too big, too active, too hard to control, etc. And, frankly, all those issues existed also with me, except it was an exceptionally smart dog and I had the time, patience, and resources to work through all that. Plus, with 31 years in the Infantry, I do "Dog" pretty good: there is only one Alpha in our house and it isn't the dog. He came to me with a reputation of a massive chewer, so I got tthe biggest Yak chews available from this nice firm and the monster loved them. I would give them for about five minutes after each meal, or four times a day. A chew lasted a couple of days and I would throw it away when it got hafway used up for safety as the dog was capable of swallowing it by then. However, there must be salt in them, as the dog began drinking large amounts of water and started having a few accidents in the house. To stop that, we discontinued the chews. I gave the unused ones to a friend whose dog spends more time outside (mine is indoor only except for walks every four hours). What I discovered in all this doggie drama was that I did not have a long-term chewing issue anyway. Once the dog settled in, he was just fine with his several giant size rubber Kong chew toys, mostly mouthing them and throwing them around the house. Now that he has a safe secure peaceful home, he leaves everythig else alone. The lesson in all this is that each dog is going to have unique requirements and react to various products and environments in different ways. And, customers are going to have a variety of concerns and opinions, some reasonable and informed, and some not. I for one absolutely do not trust nylon non-edible chew toys and my vet said she categorically did not like elk horn chews as they are too hard for most dogs' teeth (I had gotten a couple of them from this same firm; the dog loved them, but I had to put safety first, listen to my vet and stopped giving him those too as a precaution, even though my dog is just an alligator with fur and long legs). The bottom line of all this babel is that a one-size-fits-all product or solution is not the answer for every customer or pet. This chew was fantastic, but just not for us.
