OXO Good Grips Little Salad Dressing Shaker - Green

This is a great container for mixing salad dressing. It pours perfectly without drips. It feels clean and fresh, and cleans well. Just be careful to make sure that the top is actually flipped closed before shaking. A couple times after washing I left the top flipped open for drying, and forgot to close it when I shook it. It’s a small flip top, which is a good thing, so you have to make a point of remembering to close it before use. I bought this in both sizes and I love it. It’s by far designed better than any product of this type I’ve ever used.

I use mine for mojo and recently bought another for salad dressings. I loaned one to a friend and she gifted me another new one along with buying one for herself. You can’t help but appreciate the simple and effective design of this container once you use it. It unscrews in the middle which makes it easy to fill and clean (although cleaning the spout area takes a brush and some careful attention since the colored top part pivots on a metal pin and isn’t removeable).The spout pours without dripping, the pivoting closure opens and closes easily and neither the center connection nor the spout leaks at all when closed, so you can shake up the contents with confidence.I’ve had the older one (which is the larger size with green trim) since 2016 and it’s been in constant use with no problems or leaks in those 5 years. The body isn’t as clear as the new one though, which is smaller and seems every bit as well made. The fine scratches probably came from cleaning with a sponge that had a ScotchBrite pad. I will take more care when washing the new ones.I only wish they would make the body from glass instead of plastic, since I use them to store foods that contain acids like vinegar and lemon juice. A glass body would stand up to cleaning better and remain clear indefinitely.The container is practical and useful enough that I’m willing to make an exception and store dressings and mojo in it rather than a glass container that doesn’t seal, store or pour as well.

Well made but just a little small.

I eat a lot of salad and prefer to make my own salad dressing with good olive oil, white balsamic vinegar and fresh lime or lemon juice. I used to use an old glass jar to mix my salad dressings but the OXO mixer is a huge improvement over using an old jar. This OXO mixer has measurements markers clearly listed which facilitate following a recipe. The OXO mixer still functions well after being cleaned in the dishwasher many times. This little mixer works so great that I bought several and gave them as Christmas gifts. The gifts were a big hit.

The small OXO salad dressing shaker is the perfect size! The design is well thought out—easy to pour, shake, and store. I love making my own dressings, and this makes the process simple and mess-free.

This is the perfect cruet for homemade vinegarette! It washes well. It has an excellent stopper. Has measurements on the side. I just love it!

I got the OXO and a 3 pack from Nicunom (which are very similar). The OXO is more expensive but it is also better quality. They both have clear measurements on the side and seal well. The OXO has better plastic and the lid does offer a better fit but the Nicunom is functional. I use these to mix baby formula instead of salad dressing. I also use mini shaker ball inside to help the process. Having the pour lid partly closed does a really good job trapping the bubbles from mixing so only formula goes into the bottle. Very pleased with the process and think it is worth getting. If you can afford it, the OXO is great. If you're on a budget, Nicunom work pretty well.
