During a hike the GoPro 8 fell and hit face first. At first, I thought the lens was broken. The screen protector broke leaving the GoPro undamaged. I attached a photo of the broken screen protector that worked great.

So I know this screen protector works because the first day I stopped using my Hero 8 like it was a newborn baby it was hit by a baseball, fell over and cracked the lens glass! Of course the me s is fine because it was just the protector, not the lens itself that was cracked. I’m not saying that the lens WOULD have been broken without the protector, but it could have been and that makes me feel like the ridiculously low price I paid for two sets of protectors was totally worth it!The installation is quite easy and instructions are basic and clear enough. Everything required was included in the box including a lens cleaning cloth, alcohol-saturated wet wipe, a dry wipe, and even little stickers that you can use to guide the lens placement.As I mentioned the lens protector worked, but I also think it cracked because when the camera was knocked over the edge of the protector hit the concrete and the crack initiated from that edge. If the rubber around the lens was a little taller so the glass edge was protected I don’t think it would have cracked at all. However that clearly isn’t the fault of the protector.I have not any issues with optical degradation, lack of responsiveness on the touch screen, or any other noticeable effect on performance of the GoPro after installation.Some people complained about the little plastic screen protector that is used on the front LCD, but I have no problems with it. If you think about it the protector is there to keep the screen from getting scratched and will work fine for that. To break that screen would really require some sort of pointed object impacting the screen and not just dropping or falling, or other type of “normal” abuse the camera might experience. This is because the impact will be on the lens area and the edge of the camera, not that little screen.At the end of the day this protector set does what it should and gives me some piece of mind when using the GoPro as it was clearly made to be used. AND you get two sets of glass! Buy with confidence.

I wasn't so sure about this, but it's a great little product. The screens were packaged nicely in protective sleeves and with their respective cloths, etc. Applying the screen protectors was fairly simple with the guide strips that come with it. Unlike trying to put a screen on a cell phone, this was pretty seamless and the screens are cut perfectly to the lens and rear touchscreen. I did notice that the sensitivity of the back touch screen wasn't quite the same, but it isn't a deal breaker. Video footage is still sharp and the cleaning cloths do such a great job, I didn't get any dust caught in between the lens and the protector. Time will tell how durable and reliable this is.UPDATE 10/14/2020I saw a big crack on my screen and freaked out as I have never dropped the camera but may have bumped it yesterday while filming. Anywho, it turned out the screen protector did what it was designed for.

I am big on protecting my purchases. I always get a screen protector and protective case for my items. I bought this product as a temporary cover for my GoPro Hero9 Black while I waited for the appropriate screen covered to arrive. It fit nicely but it was not as touch sensitive as I had hoped. I kept having to take it on and off in order to get my touch screen to respond to my finger. The GoPro Hero9 could be more sensitive to touch but it was frustrating to continually have to take it on and off just to use my camera. Other than that, it was thick and durable and stayed in place.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Bought this in Feb 2020 for my newly bought Hero 8. I installed it on the main touch screen, on the lense and front small screen. Because of the thickness of the protector I had some hard time to use the touch screen, so I peeled it off after 2 months. And left the lense and front screen protector. No issue in taking great photos with an additional layer on lense. I have been Hero 8 and Hero 4 for the brand new construction of out home since April 2020. In last 8 months this protector has done extremely well doing its job against all the rugged condition during the construction. This morning (12/31/2020) I put the on GoPro 3-way mount with it's monopod position on top of my upstair balcony wall on the edge, about 12' high (pic attached) to film the time lapse video for balcony tile work. Due to the high wind it fell down on the Patio foundation area and the protector SHATTERED. As you can see in the video nothing happened to the camera lense screen.Well with the money and I would definitely recommend this purchase. Its a set of 2, so I have one set spare which I will use to protect again.

Good, but leaves fingerprints on the touch screen. Bought this for the Kupton name, it works so far. So far I haven't had to see if it protects the screens. It says Hydrophobic and repels oil. It repels water, oil not so much! It does seem to repel oil on the lens cover, but the toush screen, not so much. 100% worth the price.I have to say that I like the little plastic cover for the status screen on the front of the GoPro where it shows the battery status, that's an extra other protector products don't include.

You bought car insurance, fire insurance, and medical insurance. Good job. Now you need to buy GoPro lens and screen insurance if you own a GoPro 8. This is cheap insurance and you will be glad you spent the money if you drop your camera or do something that could scratch your lens and/or screen. These little protectors go on easily and don't seem to diminish the performance in any way. Quit thinking about it. Just buy it. You will be glad you did.

Ho appena preso la Gopro 8 black e volevo proteggere l'obiettivo e lo schermo anteriore e posteriore.Ho scelto questa pellicola (6 pellicole, 2 per ognuno dei punti da proteggere).Facile applicare le pellicole, le ritengo di buona fattura (soprattutto sono della giusta misura), grazie al contenuto della confezione in plastica (panno per pulire, istruzioni ecc.).La confezione la sto utilizzando per contenere le batterie aggiuntive della mia Gopro.Ovviamente bisogna fare attenzione ad applicare correttamente ogni pellicola, evitando così che si formino bolle.

Ottimo prodotto, si presenta in una custodia che permette di riporre i vetri in più, per poterli usare in un secondo momento.I vetri sono più piccoli di un 1mm per lato nn vanno a coprire tutta la superficie del vetro ma vanno benissimo anche così, aderiscono perfettamente, li consiglio

Ottimo kit di pellicole, arriva in una scatolina di plastica comoda per non perdere i pezzi in giro come spesso mi capita. All'interno ci sono le salviettine per pulire la superficie e gli adesivi per aiutarsi durante l'applicazione. Applicate senza problemi e per ora sono ancora attaccate. Vedremo nel tempo quanto resistono!

non immaginavo fossero cosi resistenti, ottime!!! meglio comprare queste pellicole e salvaguardare lo schermo che non averle e rompere il display e portare in garanzia la go pro!!!

Ottima, semplice da posare, aderisce perfettamente, non diminuisce molto la sensibilità del touch screen
