Ecosmart Organic DEET Free Insect Repellent, 9 fl oz, Pack of 2

I used to love this stuff--the last 2 years we have used it in Mid-Atlantic and it's kept the bugs away, but this year it's not doing as great of a job--not sure if they changed the formula or what but I have definitely been bitten a few times after just applying this liberally. It does seem to work great for keeping ticks from climbing up the legs, I always spray my feet before I go out. One downside, seems the Japanese Beetles sometimes seem to think that I am a yummy lemongrass plant or a lemon basil because after I spray it, I always start to get dive bombed by them when I go outside! So I'd skip the applications around the head when the JB's are out. Otherwise we are still fans, I just am going to try some other things to see if they work better for mosquitoes than this does for now.

This stuff was amazing. The first time that I purchased it I was looking for something in a small Oregon town and found it on the shelf. I was surprised, this stuff was amazing. It smelled great, a pine fresh smell, like a christmas tree. Mosquitoes can be visibly seen avoiding you with this on. It seems to last for about an hour before needing to be reapplied. Bugs will not land on you at all and its kind of interesting watching the bugs bounce off of and avoid a 2 inch "shield" around you.

I love this! We live in Florida and the bugs are bad. I put it on if I know I'm going to spend an hour or so outside (walking the dog, yard work, enjoying the sunset) and it works very well. I would probable not rely on it in the deep woods, but for being outside an hour at dusk it works like a charm. Other natural stuff sometimes has an awful cedar and/or geranium smell that I don't like. This one smells very pleasant.

I got this after a friend recommended it to me. I brought it with me for 2 weeks in the rainforest in Costa Rica. It kept the bugs away and didn't irritate my skin. Friends started borrowing while we were there!

Like that it is natural and smells good.

I went to Cancun on vacation, and since the mosquitos were really bad in that region last year, I was concerned. So I read a lot of reviews and bought this. Not one mosquito bite!

works great so far. smells like some weird combination of geraniums and mint, but hey it works!

Best bug spray I've ever used! NO bites at all!
