Effective, powerful pump- Great Value
We have 2 Seadoos (Wake 155 and GTI 130) and wanted to have the 'insurance ' of a bilge pump in case the unthinkable happened while out on the water. I had seen many pre-packaged PWC specific bilge kits that ranged from $100-$180, and none had a true automatic function. Most were either pure manual or turned on automatically at preset intervals whether there was water in the bilge or not.I installed the first one I ordered on our GTI and it worked brilliantly. Installation was straight forward, although I ordered with the Shoreline Marine Bilge 3 way switch based on Amazon's prepackaged recommendation. I wouldn't recommend this combination as the amp rating on the breaker is too high for the pump.I read through every single review on this pump because I wasn't familiar with the brand, and haven't experienced any sensitivity of the switch cycling on/off based on back pressure from water in hose. My setup has about 3-4 ft of 3/4" hose. The pump is less then 2 ft below the outlet point. Our outlet is almost straight up - it has a slight angle towards the rear of the ski (there are limited areas to mount). The pump is powerful and shoots water out in a 2 foot stream until the water level in the bilge goes down. I had an initial concern that the pump didn't shut off when water was evacuated, but the pump continues for 30-60 seconds and then shuts off. I was looking initially at external float switches, but this pump saves space. I really like the integrated float that resides within the pump housing so as to be protected from loose debris that may end up in the bilge area and cause an external float switch to be stuck open. The float dial on the pump also allow you turn the pump on for testing purposes/ if you are working in the bilge. For our application (3 person pwc) the GPH may be overkill but the package works well. So much so, that ordered the same exact pump for our second ski- but this time with the Rule 43 combo switch (which allows you to select the proper fuse amp).Great value, effective pump. Will update as time moves on.

Works extremely well
This is actually my second seaflo pump that will replace one that worked on my mako skiff for 5 seasons. As long as you can keep debris from gathering around the float the auto feature will work as intended. I use a switch with mine and have it on auto to give me piece of mind when it rains and I'm not around. If you want added piece of mind you can use some filter material to keep debris from getting down into the bilge area .It moves alot of water and has handled some very bad storms.

Very good for some purposes, but not for mine.
Apparently a problem common to other makes as well: bilge water has to be 1.5" deep before the auto switch will work, (despite inserting a non-return valve for another $20 that I wish I had back). The original equipment in my 29' Cruiser emptied the hull to less than 1/2" of water. This may be fine to avoid a catastrophe, but if I have to drain it via a boat lift and removing the drain plug like a ski boat; remove the carpeting, lift the engine cover over the 7.4 liter engine and drain it over the side with my similarly priced manual Rule pump (that drains to less than 1/2" in my old bass boat); or live with three to four gallons of stinking bilge, it fails the purpose for which I bought it. Design problem is a swing float used to activate the switch. A straight up & down float action would not be as inefficient in wasted space. It does pump well and is cheap (it's fairly well made but you get what you pay for with regard to features), or I'd be leaving a 2 star rating. I haven't contacted customer service because it took a lot of effort to install it in the cramped engine compartment below the big engine before realizing what was about to happen, and I don't want to go to the trouble of removing it. It was delivered quite promptly and was well-packaged, so I wouldn't hesitate to buy a different product from the same seller.

Best product for the price!!!
This is a great little product. I have a basement apartment which needs a dehumidifier. The problem is, no one can ever remember to empty the water and the dehumidifier shuts off. I solved this problem by placing this pump in the water reservoir of the dehumidifier and used a coleman thermoelectric 120v step down to 12v cooler adapter and ran a drain hose through the wall where the DSL cable comes into the bsement. Works like a charm... problem solved. If you need this for what it was designed for (bilge pump for boat) I have no doubt it will work perfectly for your need. This pump has an automatic float switch that kicks on when the water level rises and shuts off when the water is gone, and it also has a second line so you can install an on/off toggle switch to manually run the pump.

I have it wired directly to the battery (I know this isn't always good practice), and the float mechanism has worked like ...
So far this product has worked extremely well. I have this pump installed as a secondary bilge pump in a 16ft bass boat. I have it wired directly to the battery (I know this isn't always good practice), and the float mechanism has worked like a charm when I've forgotten to run my manual bilge in rain or after over-filling my live well. This has only happened a few times, but for my application, it gets the water out very quickly. To note, there are three wires - one negative, and two positive. One positive can be wired to a switch to use in manual mode, and the other (the one I have wired in) only gives power to the pump when the float is triggered.

Meh. Stuck "on" after two years use
I have this set up to pump rainwater into tank when basin fills using the auto on float feature. After about 2 years of intermittent use, this stopped working and it just runs continuously. I opened and cleaned the unit but no change.I even took the washer off and removed the float and no change.I need it to work automatically, so it's just e-waste now.

Far cheaper than other dealers.
Good capacity, works as well as any bilge pump I've used.

Bonne pompe

Lasted a full three years under some pretty abusive conditions
Worked flawlessly for three years before failing. Given the location in my boat and the abuse, it took from the 12-gallon fuel tank constantly sliding around and bashing into it, and my neglect to clean the leaves and debris out of the shallow well it sat in - I'd say I got my money's worth and couldn't have asked much more from this product for the $28.88 CAD I paid for it at the time. However, I now see it is selling for $49.99 on Amazon.ca - which is much less of a deal.

Tres bien
Moins chere que celles achetées dans le commerce, pour la même qualité! Installée dans une cale de bateau, elle fonctionne tres bien. Je recommande

Good machine
The media could not be loaded. **Update**: I ordered a second unit to replace the original pump. It works ok but the condition I received it was not so good. Since it worked I could not be bothered to return it. It looked like it was used (scratches on the bottom and nicks on the body inside) This unit had a white top (added images) whereas my first one had an orange top.**End of update.**I used 3M 4200 as an adhesive as it appears strong enough but at the same time should be able to scrape the pump off when the time comes.PROS:It works (see video)Easy enough to install unless you have an inboard/outboard which means you will need to do some contortions to place it under the engine and be a bit inventive in fixing it to the hull ( I chose bonding it to the hull rather than screwing it in.)Instructions are fairly good for a Chinese product.Easy to remove from base.CONS:No fuse component included. Buy a 6 amp fuse and holder in advance of installation if you are going to wire it directly to the battery bypassing the boat circuits. No foam protection to prevent float from moving float during shipment. No telling how much wear and tear it suffered in shipment (possible premature aging/wear and tear of the moving component, the float.)
