Saffron Road Korean BBQ Crunchy Chickpea Snack, 6oz - Gluten Free, Non-GMO, Halal, Kosher, Vegan

My first order arrived today (Friday afternoon) and when I tell you I was instantly addicted, that's no exaggeration whatsoever! I got the Korean BBQ flavor and from the very first taste, I regretted buying only one bag because I was as close to sure as I could be that these wouldn't even last one night. (They're so good!!) But they're also really filling! They aren't oily/greasy or heavy in my stomach at all. They're crunchy enough to be satisfying, but they're easy to chew comfortably without feeling like your teeth are in danger. These really are a perfect snack if you're wanting something salty-savory (rather than sugary sweet) that's healthy (yay, extra protein!), and that tastes & feels clean as you eat it, filling that snacky void quickly and without the guilt of mindless fatty snacks. And they're cost effective - I wouldn't change a thing! My new favorite snack, without a doubt! SO SAD! {UPDATE 8/10/24} As much as I love the flavor of these (Korean BBQ), I bit into one that was like a rock and it broke one of my (prior to that, healthy post-filling) teeth! That tooth literally exploded when my teeth chomped down on it. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing these again. ☹️ Be careful & mindful as you bite down on these!

Wonderful flavor, they go quick.

These are pretty tasty. Not mind blowingly delicious but a great alternative to chips or highly processed junk. I wasn't a huge fan but my husband really liked them, and oddly enough, so did our toddler. Will buy again in the future.

The flavoring is good, but its all in the bottom of the bag. Almost none of the flavor is on the chickpeas. So you get a very mild bit of the taste of Korean BBQ when eating the actual snack. If you eat the crumbs its packed with flavor. These would be 4 or 5 stars if the flavoring was actually on the snacks as it tastes very good. As the chickpeas are actually kind of bland but not bad, 3 stars.

Muy saludable

The Korean BBQ flavor of these roasted chickpeas are wonderful. I order these on repeat now as a quick and tasty snack when I want something savory and crunchy. The texture reminds me a lot of those Corn Nuts you'd buy at the gas station; they aren't great if you have a tooth in need of a filling, but the taste is good enough that you'll be tempted to snack anyway. If you've ever had other Korean BBQ-flavored snacks, these taste about the same: sweet and a little smokey. They are also definitely filling - way better than chips or crackers, in my opinion!

Not what I was hoping for. Flavor is very salty and not evenly distributed. One bite is tolerable, the next bite is overkill. The texture is hard and not easy to chew. I worried that I was going to crack a tooth. The product sits in my pantry; no one will touch them. I wonder if the squirrels will eat them?

I just received this item last Saturday ever since switching to a Mediterranean diet. It was one of these best decisions that I made. These snacks are delicious & planning to over them again as well as in different flavors.
