Great Mouse
The Kone Pro Air is a great mouse. I upgraded from the wired Kone Pure Ultra. The Pro Air retains a very similar ergo shape with the thumb groove on the side, the large side buttons, and the superb mouse wheel. Since the shape was so similar, adapting was pretty easy, and the best part is that I'm no longer fighting the wire. In a lot of mouse or peripheral reviews in general, the writer will say something like "Will this thing make you a better player? No!" However, in the case of the Kone Pro Air, I do think it has made me better. I just got out of a Modern Warfare 3 2-hour session of Shipment/Rust and I can perceptibly feel that my tracking and flicking has gotten faster, smoother, and more accurate. You really don't understand how much a mouse wire can bog you down until you go without one for a few weeks. And I had been using a mouse bungee too. I held out on buying a wireless mouse because I was always skeptical of latency, but this mouse is IMMEDIATE over a 2.4ghz WiFi network. Lighting is a little understated as it only shows up under the two main mouse buttons instead of around the whole mouse (like many Roccat mice), but it looks good. Only couple caveats I'll mention here are that Swarm is pretty buggy and the initial pairing process was a little cumbersome. Swarm will show the mouse charged to 100% and display "4 hours remaining." There is also no way to stop the mouse from turning the RGB off after a minute of it being idle (I made sure to turn power saving mode off). And when I got the mouse I had to do a little 20 minute song and dance or plugging the mouse in, hitting the pair button on the dongle, unplugging it, etc. Eventually I got there and I've zero problems since (and I use a KVM switch), but I thought that was worth mentioning. The Owl Eye sensor is spot on and the PTFE feet glide super smoothly over my Skypad 3.0 (glass mousepad). Roccat also includes a spare set of feet, which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, I am very pleased. If you have tried other Kone mice and want to make the jump to wireless, you should be very happy with the Kone Pro Air.

Great purchase and works like a charm!
Using this product was the best choice I have ever made! It felt comfortable in my hand, the RGB wasn't distracting, I didn't have to worry about battery life since it was USB, the mouse quality was perfect, and the buttons and scrolling speed were terrific! 10/10.

Good mouse so far
I've only had this mouse less than a week, so the scope of this review is somewhat limited, but so far my experience has been good. I got it on recommendation from my brother, who also has the same mouse. My suggestion to the reader is that everyone's grip style, hand size, and preferences are different, so those factors will determine whether or not this is a good fit for you. Things I like: - The scroll wheel actually works properly and feels nice. My last mouse (Razer Basilisk) had an infuriating problem with occasional missed/backwards scrolling, which is incredibly frustrating in gaming, so I've come to appreciate a functioning scroll wheel. - The side buttons are well-placed and accessible without accidentally pressing them, at least for my grip style. - The software is functional while not being intrusive (unlike Razer Synapse, which is notoriously obnoxious) - Tracking is fine as far as I can tell. - The weight is 132g, which is fine for me, but people who like their mouse to be super light may disagree. - The lighting options in the sofware are very customizable. I tend to not go crazy with the whole RGB thing, but if that's what you're into, you will like Roccat's software. Minor gripes: - The sides of the mouse are very smooth. This can introduce some awkwardness in your grip when picking up/repositioning the mouse. I might buy some grip tape for it, but I would have liked to see the rubbery/textured material on the sides that some other mice have. - I'm not totally sure the form factor of this mouse is right for me, since the mouse I am most accustomed to (a cheap Chinese gaming mouse) had a much different shape, but I'll give it some time to see if I get used to it. It's not uncomfortable, but not totally comfortable either. Again, this is a matter of individual comfort/preference. It's worth noting that my brother's Roccat Kone, which he's used very heavily for a couple of years, has developed a problem with the right click intermittently not registering. I figure any mouse under sustained heavy use will develop some clicking malfunction eventually, but it's something to keep in mind. On the balance, I think this mouse has earned a solid 4.5 stars (rounded up to 5 because Amazon), with the half star being deducted for the lack of grip/texturing on the sides. If I run into any glaring issues that change my opinion I will update, but so far my experience has been good and I would recommend this mouse.

Ergo mouse, crappy software
The shape is the most comfortable and ergonomic among the ones I've seen and felt. The way you grip the mouse just feels right, with your thumb and pinkie fitting perfectly onto the sides. While the shape is good and allows for very natural, snappy movements when gaming (that is, indeed, the main purpose of the product itself), I wouldn't feel comfortable saying the same regarding the performance. Once plugged in, despite working instantly, the very first "necessity" is to download the Roccat Swarm software to be able to tweak and customize the mouse to your liking. The problem is, the software runs slower than a monkey on a pennyfarthing. It will affect the performance of the mouse in ways that I yet cannot understand completely: the main issue is with the sensor, that is for some reason jittery and stuttery in-game, registering random movements I didn't make; the game soon became unplayable due to the constant tendency of the mouse to make me look up to the sky. Pretty, isn't it? While trying to understand what was wrong with the sensor, I tried setting, from the software my polling rate from 1000Hz down to even 125Hz, as I heard that the stutter may be due to lack of synchronization between the polling rate and monitor refresh rate. After this attempt failed, I reckoned it had something to do with the DPI (as the default one, 800, is way too low for me). But once again, my attempt was pointless. I even tried messing with the LOD (lift-off distance) and changing the underlying surface (by removing the cloth mat), but none of these to any success. Ultimately, I tested my luck online to check if anyone else might be having (or have had) the same problems, but to my surprise there were no results available for this issue or, for the matter, on the mouse itself. Somehow, every different search directed me towards Reddit discussion on the Kone Pro Air (the wireless variant), which despite being similar, had very different sofware and mechanical issues on its own. My last straw was to delete the software itself, since I had read online that it prettu much slows the computer down when processing mouse movements. Then, one PC reboot and the cursor was completely fine. Every stutter, gone; even the smallest jitter went away to leave place for silky smooth aiming. The main takeaway from this review would be: Once you're content with tweaking the mouse from the software, if you're experiencing any of my aforementioned annoyances, try uninstalling it. It might solve your problem and save you from a very stressful afternoon. Everything else on the mouse is fantastic; the lighting is delightful, the mouse buttons large and the CPS high, if you're into Minecraft. Hope this aws helpful.

Lightweight, Comfortable Mouse with Crisp Clicks and Accurate Tracking
I picked this up as a lightweight mouse for everyday use and gaming, and it’s been a great experience so far. The shape is comfortable and feels natural in the hand, especially for longer sessions. It’s very light without feeling cheap, which makes quick movements easy and reduces fatigue over time. Clicks feel crisp and consistent thanks to the optical switches. There’s no mushiness, and everything feels precise. The scroll wheel is smooth with defined steps, and the side buttons are placed well and easy to reach. Tracking has been excellent. I haven’t noticed any jitter or inconsistencies, and it performs well across different surfaces. Plugged it in and it worked immediately, and the software is straightforward if you want to tweak lighting or button mappings. If you’re looking for a lightweight, comfortable mouse with solid performance and good build quality, this is a strong option.

Great Accuracy, Medium Durability
I originally bought this mouse with low expectations, since my Logitech mouse was having double-click issues. This mouse has an optical switch, so double click should theoretically never be a problem, and hasn't for the 4 months I've been using this mouse. The software comes with an adjustable debounce time, so it's definitely possible to purposefully double-click with this mouse to get high CPS. The weaknesses of this mouse definitely include the scroll wheel. It gets the job done, but can feel just a little flimsy at times (though I might just be spoiled coming from the G502 scroll wheel). There's also no left and right scrolling, which isn't a huge issue most of the time but is a nice to have that I sometimes miss when using Excel. The pads also have very poor durability, in only 4 months of use a significant portion of the pads have been scraped away. Although, the upside is that the wear of the pads have not really changed the feel or accuracy of the mouse too much for me. The mouse came with replacement pads as well, though I haven't tried replacing any of the pads as of yet. Overall, this mouse was a really nice surprise for me. It's accurate, comes with optical switches, has software that's pretty lightweight and non-intrusive but feature-full, and is really cheap to boot. The downsides of poor pad durability and scroll wheel feel aren't nearly enough to outweigh the positives of this mouse. I don't think there's a better mouse on the market at its price. Would highly recommend!

ROCCAT RMA Process is Trash, Along With Their Product Quality
I owned the KoneXTD and it was an amazing mouse. After many many years and many hours of intense gaming, the cord around where it entered the mouse housing finally started to give intermittent connectivity. Since the mouse was well out of warranty, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I own several other Roccat products that I purchased many years ago and all of them were high quality so I didn't even bother looking beyond the star rating on Amazon before purchasing their latest and greatest Kone mouse, the Kone AIMO Remastered. Although lighter than I normally like, the mouse felt familiar at first and the new software seemed good. I started using it in regular gaming sessions and for work. After a few hours I started to notice that my scroll wheel was not working properly. I assumed it was something with the new software, so I began tweaking it. It only got worse. Scrolling down would sometimes scroll up, not register at all, or skip over scrolls. The precision of the wheel deteriorated the more I used it, and I finally sought out more information on the internet. I was then introduced to the PLETHORA of other users who have had this issue. Roccat's own subreddit is full of stories about this issue. This mouse apparently is shipping with a bad sensor that makes the scroll wheel (at best) unreliable or (at worst) completely unusable. As someone who works (and plays) from home, not having a reliable scroll wheel is not an option. I contacted Roccat, having this be the first time I've dealt with their customer service since all of their products in the past have not needed RMA. After contacting customer service they sent me instructions on how to process my RMA. This was the beginning of the end for my dealing with Roccat as a company. The absolutely INSANE process for receiving an RMA from Roccat requires you to CUT THE CORD of your mostly functioning device, leaving you without a device, and for you to then send them a picture of the cut cord and mouse, before they will process your RMA. I thought it was a joke at first, but the first customer service person I was messaging with said that this is because they want to get me my replacement as quickly as possible, and that it was just to avoid the delay in the mail system of me having to send them my device. When I said that I didn't mind the delay, and requested that I just send back my faulty mouse for repair, instead of destroying a perfectly working device that has one small issue, I was then informed by another customer service person that it really has nothing to do with getting me a replacement in a timely manner, and everything to do with fraud protection and trying to prevent Roccat from losing a few dollars because someone might try to get a replacement on a working device. They don't want the mouse back, they don't want to repair it. They just want to send you a new mouse that will, most likely, still have this exact same problem since it is a MANUFACTURER DEFECT, not a one-ff, random faulty sensor. They don't care about their customers or their products it seems, anymore. There are hundreds of people who I have read about online having this same exact problem and RMA process. Many have received their replacement only to find that the sensor on the scroll wheel is still faulty. Many have RMA'd several times and each time the scroll wheel is bad, with no end in sight. At this time, I am not convinced that Roccat is a trustworthy company anymore. I would recommend that EVERYONE stay away from their products until such time as they start prioritizing their product quality again. Also, the amount of waste they are creating by having their customers DESTROY mostly working products so they can just send them another broken device and start the whole process over again is DISGUSTING and in my opinion is enough to keep me from EVER buying another one of their products again in the future unless this practice is changed. Roccat has lost a 10+ year customer due to their poor product quality and their complete lack of a normal RMA process, along with their completely asinine "destroy your purchase before RMA" method of replacement. Shame on Roccat and shame on anyone who supports this sad excuse for "customer service". What a wasteful, trash thing they are doing. They don't deserve your money or time.
