Enlightening, transformative, and inspiring
Finishing this book was my own journey. It was hard at times but necessary. I am about to begin my own pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela from St Jean Pied de Port. I approach with both trepidation and wonder. Buen Camio!

sad moments, and other different mood changes throughout the ...
Throughout the story, characters gave me some outside thoughts that a normal book would not, they brought suspense, sad moments, and other different mood changes throughout the book that make this such a good book. Paulo is on a road for a change in life, with Petrus with him, they explore the road to Copenstela that include different feelings while they were on the road. Paulo is on a trip to find his sword but instead he realizes the trip isn't all about the sword, he is on a trip to finding the sword and along the way he rungs into life changing moments that make him forget about the sword and think more of what time of person he is. There was rarely any weaknesses throughout the book due to the fact that it always had my attention. Unlike other books that just catch people's attention in some chapters, these chapters have suspense, sad moments and epic moments throughout the book not only In some chapters. Chapters were not to long but also were not too short, different characters made huge impacts on the story leading the book to have more than one main character. I found this book to be very easy to word, there really wasn't any words I did not understand or also there was no sentences that I did not understand, I was able to read the book smoothly chapter by chapter leaving the whole book a positive outcome because I understood what was going on. The characters were some times against each other and in some chapters they worked together, this is a book that I know other people may be able to understand unlike other books that have some words or sentences that are sometimes hard to understand. I highly recommend this book, after reading this book it left me with a great experience giving me a positive look at the author of this book. This book gave different characters the lead on the chapters, it always had my attention and had some twist and turns that I would not be able to find in just any book. In my opinion, this book had rarely any negative points, this reading was always a time I was looking forward to on spending my time on, I know I can go to this author whenever I would like to read a good book that can catch my attention and I know what would be going on.

I very much enjoyed the book
Malcolm A. Ivy The book " The Pilgrimage" written by Paulo Chelho, is a story about one man on a quest to find his sword. During his journey he encounters multiple aids , hazards, and traitorous tribulations, that has him question not only his phish all capabilities, but his mental capabilities as well.Accompanying him on this journey is his guide Petrus, who leads him down the road to Santiago. Teaching him many different ram practices along the road. Throughout the book we see Paulo's overall character develop ,and mature through many vigorous challenges.I very much enjoyed the book, for both content and overall story arch.I enjoyed the progression of all the characters, and looking into their minds, and experiencing their inner most thoughts. The story is extremely detailed, and vivid. This book always kept me on edge to see wether Paulo does in fact get his sword, or not. The book however did ramble at times, but in a nutshell it was rather intertwining for a book about two guys walking. I liked this book for the underlying message stating that the most hardest questions, often have the simplest answers.I highly recommend this book if you want to kill some time. This book has a lot to offer, and will leave you questioning your self, and your own thought process. You would never want to put this book down because it keeps you in a stage of Suspense. Mostly , because it's a book you can take, and learn from. So if you are looking for a book that makes you reflect, this is the book for you.

A man's journey for purpose
The Pilgrimage is a great book that is about a man searching for his rightfully earned sword, or so thinks. The main character, Paulo, is on a journey that will change him forever. Paulo is challenged mentally and physically throughout his search. However he isn't alone as Paulo is accompanied by a mentor-like figure named Petrus. Petrus helps Paulo with his journey throughout the book and teaches him many new things that help Paulo grow as a person. The messages in The Pilgrimage are very pivotal to the story. This book makes the reader feel as though they are learning new things just like Paulo is. The writing in the story is good and is a easy read. At first, I wasn't really interested in the book at all, but after a few chapters, my view began to change. People can get a lot of messages from reading this. The point of the book is to know what your purpose in life truly is instead of just choosing whatever to pursue in life.I would most certainly refer this book to anyone that wants a good read and learn the reading too. I actually learnt a lot from this book especially since I'm a senior I'm high school and I'm still deciding what to do with my life. However, after reading the book, I have narrowed my career choices down which has relieved stress of my college search. The book is brilliantly written so that it isn't really a journey just for Paulo but for yourself as well. Overall, it is a fantastic book that will keep you hooked till the end.
