Nice piece, good extra parts
Nice set, lots of fun for my kids. Ended up getting another for dueling or side by side like in a star ship.I do wish the gun barrel revolved with the rear spindle. It's independent and doesn't have any action. It does fire a long dart, with ample force to actually clobber other lego pieces. The drop down fuel canister is a hit with my son.

Great little set!
Not much to say. Great set. Small but a fun scene to build and have.

Star Worth It
This was a perfect gift for a Star Wars fan. The price is reasonable for real Legos and the receiving person loved it.

My kids love it!
I try to buy legos at higher level to challenge my kids with hopes they will stop draining my bank accounts with these but wow, they loved it! Pretty nice set. My 6 year-old put together and her and my son play with daily!

The gun is the fun, but the overall set is kind of lacking.
A nice addition to any Lego Star Wars collection. The Death Star cannon is the fun part of the set. The tractor beam section is kind of weak as far as any replay value or any similarity to the movie. Lego had an older set (which I also purchased at the same time) from 2014 which was a Death Star Battle Pack. It featured a smaller cannon with a less fun shooting ability (flick fire missiles instead of a pure firing missile like this pack), but that one had more figures, four total (two gunners, two red royal guards), as opposed to this set, which only had one gunner and an Obi-Wan. Since this isn't a true "battle pack" it's hard to complain too much on this point, but yeah, if they were going for the Obi-Wan tractor beam scene from the original Star Wars, maybe elaborate on the build a bit and give us more Stormtroopers. If you want to make it a true Death Star cannon scene, cut out the Obi-Wan and the tractor beam, and give us more Imperials. Not a bad set, but the designers don't seem to know which way to go with it.
