OUO Adjustable Shower Head Holder, Bathroom Suction Cup Handheld Shower Head Bracket, Removable Handheld Showerhead & Wall Mounted Suction Bracket (Pure White)

I purchased this product for hanging my flexable hose shower head down lower on the shower wall, so my elderly father can shower in his bath chair & have the water hit his chest & not have water blasting him in the face while he washes himself. The suction cup does not stay on our plastic shower wall & the included adhesive tape you use for surfaces that the suction cup will not work on only stay on the wall for about twenty minutes before it feel & I cleaned the surface very well first with 99% medical grade isopropal alcohol for a very clean mounting surface. I ended up having to use epoxy glue to keep it on the wall & wish I could have been able to keep it removeable like I original hoped for. If I did not have to glue it to the wall, I would have given it a 4 star rating & if the suction cup would have kept it on my plastic shower wall I would have given it a full 5 star rating. Not a bad product by any means but could use some slight improvements. I still recommend this product to anyone & also this Amazon seller.

I installed this shower head holder to clean tile...I put the sticky gel pad on wall with holder attached and let it sit 24 hours to insure it adhered properly before inserting hand held shower head into holder..The holder fell off 4X in less than 2 days and it also damaged the hand held shower head...This is a piece of garbage and you should not be allowed to dupe customers with this piece of junk...Now not only am I advocating against this so no one else gets suckered into buying this item...I now have to replace the hand held shower head that got cracked because your cheap item did not stick to wall which was the purpose of it...DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!! Spend the extra money and go to a reputable seller...

Whenever I have to bathe my dog, it become a hassle when I need two hands to scrub him down. When I let go of the shower head, I am at the mercy of the water pressure and physic. If I get lucky, the water would shoot a different direction and not get me wet. With the holder, I can now place the shower head in place and not have to worry. Another great use for me is that sometimes I only want to want to wash my hair but not my body. I am now able to positioning the shower head pretty low to get the task done. The only minor complaint I have with this holder is that it came in a generic white box. It also came with an extra adhesive pad to help it stick on very tough surface. At first I didn't know what it was for, because no instruction manual was included. I have to do some research to figure this out. Install is pretty self explanatory.

In my case the shower head receiver bracket diameter is too small making the shower head handle sit too high on the bracket putting too much downward force on suction cup and making it come loose. If the bracket diameter were bigger the shower head could be mounted in a lower position allowing for a more stable installation and less stress on the suction cup.

It has fell off the wall twice. When first received I cleaned the shower wall as instructed. I clean the wall make sure it is dry and put it back up. The shower head that the holder is holding has a long hose that may play a part in why it falls. I adjusted after it fell the first time to keep it from holding a lot of the hose, it fell the second time. I purchased hand holds the same time I pursued the shower head holder. They have not fell. I use one of them to help me stand up on the edge of the tub to take the shower curtain down. I have done this twice. I am heavy and today one of the hand holds lost it's suction it did not fall off the wall. The showerhead holder fell off with no help. No one was in the bathroom. I live by myself. it has fell off the wall twice with no one in the bathroom.

I was hesitant to buy this and I wish I had bought 2 now. It’s currently unavailable. When I really like something, I like to get 1 or more extra so that if some day something happens to it that I know I have another to replace it. It’s very sturdy and holds my heavy shower head. It goes on easily to my tile wall and comes off easily with their little flip handle that locks and unlocks it in place. Nobody is paying me for this review. It’s cheap in price but they seemed to use good plastic. It don’t think this will break easily. I was wondering before I bought it if it would be that cheap plastic that breaks easily. Well, it’s not. It’s adjustable. Up, down, rotate, lock into place. Very well made and very well designed. I don’t like it. I LOVE IT!

At first, this looked like a great gadget. Our handheld showerhead with hose was not in the right place to be comfortable when in its original mount and this thing, conceivably, looked like it could be placed anywhere in the shower. I had a few issues with that so, I decided to stick it on my mirror and use it to hold my electric toothbrush. It really looked sort of stupid. After about a week, it fell off. Wife wanted to throw it out but, I figure if I slobber it up with glycerin the suction cup may have some redeeming value in the car or as a practical joke.Also, If you don't have the right kind of hose, there's no sense in even trying.

This did not stick to my shower tiles (big ones so no grout lines etc). So I used the alternative supplied with the item, a double-sided sticker just the right size. That thing is now on forever! Getting a heavy shower wand to aim the right way is a bit tricky because it wants to rotate down so you need to keep tightening the collar around the ball. But so far so good, it is holding!

This item worked great for several months occasionally the suction died due to poor installing into another location.However over time the resistance that kept the wand upward wore enough that the wand now just hangs downwards. There's a collar that can be tightened , but we have reached the point of no return.The product idea is ok but requires some up-engineering.There seems to be no other much quality better manufacture of this idea product.
