This is my first time using Pomade of any kind, but I can honestly say it has been perfect for what I need. My style is now slicked back (after years of shaving it all off ), and I have been using just a regular hairspray which never really gave the best results, but this stuff is absolutely perfect and I just wish I had found it earlier.

Decided to grow my hair longer, been using oil based pomade for years and as it had become a touch heavy a more difficult to wash out with my longer hair decided to change for a water based pomade. I opted for this brand as I’ve been very pleased with their beard oil and balm. First day of use.. disaster! Schoolboy error, far too much on dry hair! Like putting tar through you’ve hair! Rinsed off and went back to my old stuff. Next day applied a marrow fat pea sized amount onto damp hair, rub well into hands and hey presto! Perfect! Kept my hair in place all day. After a freshen up in the evening run my wet fingers through hair, restyled and perfect again until next morning. The moral of the story is less = more. Another great product from Viking Revolution which will last a long time and well worth then money.

Does the job and it's lasted me a long time. It does get a bit sticky if you use too much though and it doesn't always give me the exact results I want.

This pomade gives a solid hold and smells nice, but it didn’t last as long as I hoped. By the afternoon my style started to lose shape, especially on humid days. It’s easy to wash out and doesn’t feel greasy, but for the price I expected a bit more staying power.

I usually use imperial pomade which is in itself a very good product but they go too far charging £25 a pot. Truly this product is just as good and if I had to choose I’d say even better and better than half price! If you use imperial which is the bar setter then you’ll see what I mean when you try this just ordered another 2

Having recently grew my hair longer I searched high and low for something that does what it said it would and this is the only one that worked! By far the best hair product I've ever used. Highly recommended.

Not for me no hold no shine

I chose to let my hair grow longer as the UK lockdown continued instead of shaving my head. I found that as it grew longer a lot of the products I normally would use wouldn't give me the same effect anymore or make the hair look as nice as I wanted it to. After seeing some people suggest pomade (I have never used it at all before this) I decided to take the plunge and give it a go and it's worked brilliantly. Its fairly strong and lasting but also allows a bit of a rework if needed. Being able to just wet my hands in the bathroom and have a play around with it to reshape it during the day/night is a lovely touch. Would absolutely recommend this.
