Dan's Honing Oil - 3 oz bottle

I ordered one of Dan's Whetstones and knew that I needed honing oil to go with it so I ordered this. The oil seems to be working well with the whetstone and is important in carrying off the near invisible metal flecks that proper honing generates. Eventually, I will run out of oil, and I plan to re-order this brand and quantity again.

This is a very high quality oil. This bottle will last years of use. There is no unpleasant oder. You will be pleased with this purchase.

Didn’t know how good this stuff was. Had to try other honing oils to realize it. However it is on the expensive side for how much you get. You can get twice or more for the same price.

This honing oil works to help shave down small amounts of metal, but be very careful with the bottle. The lid opening will absolutely hose anything nearby simply by tilting the bottle. The oil is extremely thin. I would recommend using a syringe to draw it straight from the bottle and apply to the honing surface.
