Works great as a replacement!
I purchased this for my wife's 2013 Macbook Pro. After 5+ years of owning this laptop, the cable was almost frayed near where it connects to the computer. We ordered this and it worked great out of the box! You do have to be a bit careful selecting the correct connector, but we were quite sure ours was the first version of the MagSafe cable.Time will tell regarding durability, but it is quite sturdy and works just like the original one that came with the Mac. Apple chargers a ransom for an original cable, so this price works great.

Sturdy charger
The charger connected with ease to my Mackbook Air (2011). The charger appears almost identical to the charger that came with my computer. It feels sturdy and the charger cord is sufficient in length. I am very pleased.

Great alternative
Purchased this to replace my Apple charger when it suddenly stopped working. It does the job, have only had for a short time but seems to be just as good as the other, but friendlier cost. If your in need for a sudden charger and willing to step away from the Apple brand, this works just fine!
