I bought these so I would have a pair of muck boots to work in the yard with instead of ruining sneakers. Plus, sneakers aren't waterproof. I wear a 7.5 shoe and ordered an 8. When I first tried them on, I was a little worried because they felt tight across the top of the foot but had space everywhere else. I wore them for 3 hours out in the yard today and they are SO COMFORTABLE. I didn't even notice that I didn't have my normal sneakers on. There was no break in period! My feet didn't even get sweaty and it was 75F outside. I did NOT notice any tightness across the top, and I was wearing socks.The best part is I don't have to worry about stepping in mud, or any manner of squishy things because there are no seams and they hit lower/mid-calf for me. The best shoes are ones you don't even think about, and these fit the bill. These were such a good purchase and so inexpensive compared to fancy rain boots. Love 'em and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Often times when you purchase rubber boots - the soles are so flimpsy you can feel every rock or branch that you step on...not with these boots! They are durable, comfortable, and fully waterproof! I purchased them as a gift for my mom at Christmas- she wears them all the time! (and sometimes I borrow them!) Two suggestions, they run a bit small and narrow so get a half size larger than you would regularly wear, also purchase boot liners because while they are awesome they are not necessarily warm. Also my mom raves about how they are her "fashion boots" practicalitiy that looks cute! Hard to find in a rubber boot! Worth the money; I expect they will last a long time.

I have worn these a few times and they are wonderful. I normally have a problem with boots since I have large calves but these boots fit great! They are pretty comfortable, and do what they're supposed to do, keep my feet dry!

These are so comfortable; I could wear them all day. Will be great for the winters here in Minnesota because they are warm. I normally wear a 7 to 7.5 wide and I ordered the size 8. Perfect fit and width and nice toe box room. I have one ankle that I broke 40 years ago and it stays swollen all the time. Found these hard to get over that one ankle because no zipper, but I was able to get them on and off wearing hose instead of a sock and again they will be plenty warm for winter weather. Easy to tuck in pants because the top is wide, but not too wide it looks dorky. Adorable looking even on this 60 yr old! Great value for the money and just wipe off the dirt and salt from winter.

SO COMFORTABLE!!! I bought these for a 4 day camping music festival because it was supposed to rain and I wore them the entire time even though it did not rain that much because they were so comfortable on my feet! I am a heavier girl -5'4 180 lbs ... but still cute ;) - so having comfy shoes is important when walking miles and miles at a music fest or around town.They feel a little strange like you're wearing jelly socks or something and they are quite snug but you get used to it. I am an 8 wide and i purchased the 8. they fit perfectly with thin ankle socks which is all I wear. If you want to wear thicker socks, get a bigger size I'd say. But your feet will stay warm inside the plasticy boots so you don't necessarily need thick socks!

These are inexpensive, comfortable rain boots, which I wear to muck about the garden, but with the shiny black sheen of them, they are quite acceptable to wear on wet days to casual shopping. They have an unusual amount of cushioned support in the footbed -- I wore them to the Minnesota Arboretum last weekend -- that is, running about with small children, indoors and out, in wet muddy weather, for 4+ hours total, and they remained comfortable throughout.I usually wear 7-1/2 to 8, depending upon width of shoe. The Size 8 fits perfectly; did not need the "Half-sizer" add-on.

I used to like SLOGGERS but when they went with MADE IN CHINA they used different material. It looked like I still had my boots on. My calves were cut up from edging of the boot rubbing against my skin. Horribly uncomfortable. Tried wearing knee high socks with jeans still went through. I had sore rashy rings on my calves. Will not buy these again

I'm a size 7.5-8 and ordered the Basic Black Solid in size 8. These fit perfect with a pair of medium-thick socks. I can put them on and take them off with ease as well.However, the plastic bag that these rain boots came in was already torn when I received it. There's also a few marks on the outside of the boots but they're not that noticeable since the boots are black.I would say I have average sized calf and there's plenty of room in the boots even with jeans on. There's actually way too much extra room (2 inches) in the boot opening (too wide) for me. Because of this, I probably wouldn't wear these rain boots when it's pouring outside.Otherwise, these boots are comfortable to walk in (haven't tested in rain yet though) and are a solid purchase for the price paid (under $30).

I have never before worn anything more uncomfortable. Since when have rubber boots become a fashion item? These boots are so narrow that it is impossible to wear them, let alone work in them. I needed a pair of working rubber boots to shovel dirt in the garden and found nothing but these idiotic things that I cant even tolerate on my feet for 5 minutes due to how narrow they are. They were a total waste of money as I must now donate them or throw them out. I am thoroughly disappointed and angry that a. I have spent money on them and b. that I still have no rubber boots to work in. Thanks amazon

These boots fit well & are comfortable for walks.

Great fit and true to size. Now that the weather has warmed up pleasure to wear.
