Socks have only a small bit of elastic at the top so they are almost like slouch socks instead of knee-socks. Also with only 10% cashmere they aren't really that warm, either.

We'll see whether more dryer helps, but so far, these are too loose and bunch up in shoes on average-sized legs, consistent with other reviewers' experience. They might work for a really tall large woman, or after frying in the dryer.Of the 5 similar pairs I bought to try, including these and Wigwam, the ones working out best (thick enough and staying up without pinching) are JET-BOND(TM) Wool Woollen Cashmere Thigh High Knee Socks Warm Stockings. They're very tall like these but are staying up.

They are SUPER WARM and cozy, but they stretch out of shape very quickly.Okay for wearing inside the house for warm feet.

Bought five of these B.ella socks Bess #3230 and five Wigwam women's cable knee high casual socks. These were 20% more expensive than the Wigwam's but I much prefer these ones for the following reasons:These are softerThese are warmerThese feel better on my feet (more snug and less airy when you walk around just in your socks). The Wigwam knee high socks have a loose knit so that you can see your skin in parts of the weave. If you have hot feet, maybe you prefer the less warm version.These are made of 38% wool, 27% viscose, 18% nylon, 10% cashmere, 7% angora; Wigwams are made of 80% wool, 19% nylon, 1% elastic. Have not washed either yet to see how they do after washing...These stay up without leaving really obvious sock marks at the kneeI think I might return the unopened Wigwams...prefer these for feel, warmth, comfort and fit!

I love alpaca socks because they keep you nice and warm these did that however the quality is very poor I was very disappointed I would never buy these again

I have had these socks for almost a year. They are soft and feel warm, but both my socks got big holes on the back and front. I take quite good care of my socks, and there is definitely not a problem with my shoes cause other socks haven't been affected.

These socks are warm, super soft and a delight to wear. They stay up without any tugging or needing to wear hose underneath. They are also thin enough to wear your regular shoes!
