Love my Duke trap!
Two things stood out to me right away. First, the trap is well made and far more sturdy than others on the market. Second, the door and trigger mechanisms are heavy duty and VERY easy to set--also unlike many on the market. I bought the medium version, which is a bit small for large racoons, so I put a stone on top of the trap to prevent trapped Racoons from turning the trap over and possibly escaping. The first night out, I caught the large Racoon who's been destroying my bird feeders. So, I am sold on this trap. If you want to catch Racoons, I suggest purchasing the larger version with the same trigger mechanism.

Solid and easy to use
No learning curve. Easy to set, caught four young possums with it. Flip over automatically drops the door back open to let them go (far away from the house).

like most traps - it's all in trip wiring - this one is better than most and I have tried way too many. this one is worth the money

Worst trap
I caught a stray cat with it but when I carried the trap going toward the entrance door to the pound, the door trap opened and the cat got away. I was so pissed!!! I don’t know what happened. Then I figured out that once you carry the cage trap tilted the two metal rings go up and opens the door and that’s how the cat got away. I’m so disappointed with this product. I thought once the cat is in the cage the door is secure.I was hoping to pick up the stray cat once it’s spayed and release back in my area. Now that will NEVER happen!!!!!

Awesome product
This trap is so much better than other traps out there because the raccoons can't reach through the bars and get the bait out like with all other traps I have tried. This product is the best when it comes to catching raccoons, feral cats, etc. and have accidentally caught a couple of squirrels with it.

it's easy to set and very uncomplicated . It works.

Simple & Sturdy
Sturdy simple design that works well.Nearly impossible to bait if you have short arms... a door on the opposite end would be a huge improvement.No instructions, only one photo and hardly any info on Amazon.Customer service was mildly helpful when I emailed, they could have done better.The door WILL open if the cage rolls over after a catch, must be anchored.

its a great trap
trap is awesome. I was able to capture 4 armadillos in 1 day. once they stepped in the trap the door shut and no getting out. great investment. thk you.
