Church 685E2 000 Elongated Easy Off with Soft Close, White

The paint finish stained, inspite of regular cleaning. Normal cleaners failed to remove stain. Finally had to use soft scrub, which removed stain and the paint. Bad material selection. Lasted seven months, and now I'm off to Home Depot for a replacement. Waste of money!

I purchased this seat to replace the cheap seat from the builder that kept wiggling. I couldn't believe that I spent that much on a toilet seat, but let me tell you that I don't regret it one bit! It is very solid, quiet, and truly does have the slow close. We are spoiled now and the rest of the seats in our house don't quite match up to it! I checked other stores/sites and Amazon had the lowest price for this seat by Church.

The packaging materials say the bolts are stainless steel, but they're plastic. Otherwise, this does the job and fits standard elongated toilets.

This is a must buy product! I have been using it for over a year now and have two of them. I could never go back to anything non-slow close! Also very well made and looks great. I would recommend this product.

Is it weird to say I love my toilet seat? To take the edge off the exuberance of that question, you have to understand my old toilet seat. I picked that one up for $17 at a local big box store. That one was of middling quality--comfortable enough, but very plasticy. The problem, especially for the midnight trips is that the seat fell down at the worst possible time (a problem my wife didn't have to worry about). Bugged me since I had to clean it up. After a final night of the shocking, stream-interrupting slamming of the seat, I took to Amazon and scoured for a better seat. I figured the soft-close was the way to go, hence the Church.More solid than the old one, the only problem was the installation instructions were completely wrong. Easy enough to figure out. There's a satisfying weight to the seat and it slides smoothly up with confidence. The odd thing is that it, too, tries to fall over, but the soft touch catches it. I assume we either have a lazy poltergeist or there is an imperceptible tilt to the seat (odd because the first one never did that, just the replacements). I will say that it's a male thing to wonder... "can I finish before the soft touch closes?" The answer is no. Be warned.Love the soft close. Again, a satisfying weight, a gliding close and silent finish. Truly a work of art.

There's something about the thin plastic seats that just feels cheap even if it isn't. This is not one of those. Solid and heavy. Simple to put on, it fit the toilet perfect and the slow close is a fantastic feature. Very happy.

Just what we ordered and wanted. This is a very nice toilet seat and much better than the ones we saw in the home improvement stores for less $

Very good quality, slow close mechanism works great! No embarrassing slams to announce what you're about to do in the bathroom.
