Does Exactly What It Says
I had heard a lot of good things about this product and boy, were they right. This stuff works really well from the first application. I noticed a change in the surface of the leather immediately. I went over the shoes I'm painting twice to avoid patches, but one application actually would have been fine.

Been using this product for 10+ years. I've been doing sneaker restoration for around 14. Need I say more? You see this brand, you can bet it's Top Quality.

Great product.
Easy to use to remove the factory paint and surface substances from leather. One or two swipes with this will take off the old paint and any conditioner or sealer. I have used it now on 3 leather bags to prepare for repainting. . Every time it has provided the best preparation and surface for the new paint. Highly recommended.

Works like a charm.
Used on a pair of Doc Martens. Didn’t need to work too hard.

Probably could have just used acetone.
Had I known this product was mostly acetone, which I had in the house already, I would not have purchased this. With that said, it deglazed my new leather bag and took off the excess dye so I could paint it another color. It works, just expensive for what it is.

Works great, with a few minor issues
We wanted to change the color of two of our three vinyl-covered kitchen stools from orange to teal. (Used the Preparer and then 5 parts Turquoise, 1 part Brown and finished with the Matte Finisher.) We're happy with the results! I think the Preparer is necessary, but I think the Finisher was pretty unnecessary.ProsBeautiful color and adhesion. Super easy. No cracks. Never comes off on clothes (I worried!).ConsThe finish still is shiny, not matte as you can see the difference in the orange (old) and teal (new). The surface is a bit stickier than before and has only improved slightly over the six months we've tested out.Note that we also applied a leather conditioner over it at the end because we read on the Angelus site that this can help that tacky feeling and it may have helped a little. If I had to do it all over again, I definitely would, but I'd wait a good few days between coats to see if that helped the overall tacky texture (not sure it would). The color is exactly what we wanted in the kitchen and the old orange one is in the office now.

Great stuff to use for getting leather ready
I wasn't sure when I started using this. If it was something that I would like, or get much use out of but i'm on my second bottle now, because it's very good getting leather, ready for a project.
