Dog Winter Coat Thickness Warm Fleece Lined Jacket Outdoor Waterproof Reflective Vest for Winter (XXXL(Back Length:27"), Blue)

I don't usually review items right away when I get them but this WARM and DRY coat for my dog warrants one. We received the item this afternoon and he has worn it a couple of times already, going in and out to ride in the car andoutside to take care of business. We're having a very wet fall/winter and I was getting increasingly tired of wiping feet, getting out the towel to dry him off etc., plus he would shiver in the car unless it was really warmed up prior to driving. Well, the coat is very warm, and keeping him dry and happy in the car. The only tricky part is hooking up theleash on through the zippered part on his back, and maybe the straps on his back legs. But those are manageable and worth the effort. Lining is really warm, and he even allows it to be pulled up over his (instead of being folded down as a collar). I had tried several coats from retail store and ended up not liking the style or fit, and was almost ready to give it up. Glad I tried this one.

My dog has fine short hair and after moving to colorado she was getting really cold when letting her out for potty breaks. Shes a medium sized (40lbs) dog but has a big chest so i ordered a large, which fit well but she hates the elastics that go around the back legs.The jacket seems like good quality and will get the job done for keeping her warm in the snow. Im giving this 4 stars because i dont think any dog will like the elastics around the back legs, and because im not using that part the back section of the jacket sort of flops around. I would reccomend going larger than anticipated, as this would definitely be too small for my large (75 lbs) dog. That being said, i didn't measure my dog first, which is obviously reccomended. Overall the jacket is easy on and off, the buckles make it really convenient and it feels like it is probably warm and comfortable for the dog.

We were looking for something a little more substantial than just the normal dog jacket and this one is very cushy and lovely. The ONLY thing I would say is in a redesign they might want to rethink those back leg straps. Our pup doesn't seem to mind but they look like they would be a little annoying.Edited Feb 2019- a few weeks after the return window one of the back leg straps broke off. We'll sew it back on but...

Got this in XL for my 2 year old 70 lb Golden Retriever. Fit perfectly ands VERY useful for him playing in the snow. The collar can be rolled up or down. Up to keep snow out and ears warm! The belly area is covered too do that allowed my pup to lay in the snow for a long time.This is a must if you plan on having your dog out in the snow

What a terrific sturdy warm coat for a reasonable price! Not for tiny dogs, for dogs 20 pounds and up.
