I cannot really vouch for its water resistance, but it has sat for hours in piles of melting snow many times, and has remained dry in that situation.pro-Fabric is good and stitching is top notch.-It's HIGHLY CONFIGURABLE!-Pockets on the hip straps-Comes with reflective "cats eyes"on shoulder strapscon-The internal small-item pouch tends to get in the way of loading/unloading.-lid closure could be betterAll in all, it's a very very good value.

It's a great pack to get you started but the weight is definitely more on the shoulder straps and next to nothing on the waist, should be the other way around. That being said this pack is solid. I took it out on two trips for probably about 40 miles(about 45lbs in the pack). It's strong and I beat the s**t out of it, holds lots of gear and looks good. Wish it had better hip support. I'm 5'11" and about 200lbs it's a little snug around the chest and under arms. Also there's lots of compartments and you can pull the internal frame out so you can wash it.

I wanted to be able to hang climbing shoes on a daisy chain, but also have my laptop safely inside. This bag is awesome!The main compartment has front and top loading which is great for making use of all the available room. The top and bottom compartments are also very roomy. The internal frame distributes weight well, so my shoulders and back don't get tired; ideal for long treks.The water pouch sleeve easily fits a Camelbak, but also accommodates my 15" Macbook laptop. I also use this backpack for airplane travel; it fits nicely under the seat as a carry-on. I've been traveling 2-3x per month with this backpack for about 2 months, and haven't seen any wear and tear at all.

I spoke to Nick at Guerrilla Packs and he was very helpful in addressing my questions and concerns! I have not used the backpack but will give it as a gift. However, upon checking it out, the quality of the product is very nice and sturdy, with a good amount of padding. The stitching also looks well done. It is a very light and compact backpack which makes it great for short hikes/trips.

Item came with hip belts cut off, inaccurate description, mentioning no cosmetic damage. Although it arrived quickly, maybe next I won't be buying used.
