I was very disappointed in this product. I ordered for my daughter as a Christmas gift. The gems are very small and very easy to find. It too all of the guess work out, she would get it, break the rock and boom there was the tiny gem right in the middle. Lol...she did enjoy it so that is why I gave it 3 stars. I should mention, I did like how they provided a card with some information on the gems that were included. But there is a better on at Walmart that has all the gems in on big rock that posed more of a challenge for her.

My daughter chose these as a birthday treat to hand out to her class. Thankfully there are only 24 students in her class which includes her because they were all shell shaped (which matches the fossils set) so I broke one open really quick to see if it was a rock or fossil inside. I didn't want to include the rock/mineral info sheet if it was a fossil. It was a rock inside so hopefully the rest are as well.Either the package pictures need to be updated to reflect what is actually inside the box or the blocks need to match the package pictures.

I received these and ordered them for a birthday party that will take place in a few months. I opened the box that says rocks and minerals to find shells inside for the kids to dig into. So with the party a few months away I had my son dig into one to see if it was a rock and it was.For the themed birthday party we are having it is disappointing that these are shell casing on the outside and not the rock casing the box and description say and show. We are hoping all the rest of these shell casings are rocks and not the fossils but we will not find out until the party. Hopefully we are not disappointed.

Mon petit fils, son cousin et sa petite cousine ont passé de très beaux moments à chercher les petites pierres. Elles sont un peu petites mais les enfants étaient très heureux. Prévoir un bon nettoyage à faire après et idéalement faire ça dehors.
