Creative MUVO Play Portable Bluetooth 5.0 Speaker, IPX7 Waterproof for Outdoors, Up to 10 hours of Battery Life, with Siri and Google Assistant (Black)

Picked up the black version and had it for a few months now and primarily for use in the bathroom. Some of us listen to music paired with the phones while other audiobooks relaxing in the bath. The unit itself is pretty compact with a rubber and mesh outer layer and it does float in water to some extent. On the outside in terms of buttons there is the power button which has a blue light on which indicates the status. A volume up / down button which when paired with certain apps like google music when double tapped can go back and forward a track. There is a rubber cap and under this cap which keeps things watertight is a 3.5mm jack and the USB type C charging cable. On either side of the speaker is a pair of silver passive radiators and the music comes out the centre mesh area. It is pretty omni-directional and fills a 5m x 3m room pretty easy, even with shower running. In terms of sounds its surprisingly solid, it is not going to put out massive amounts of sound, but relatively close by it works great for the music and audio books played back on it alike. There is a little bit of distortion if really cranked to max and with certain track, but largely a non-issue. It is actually water resistant as it has dropped in bathtub when some members are having a soak a few times and its been fine no problem after. Pairing the device is pretty each via Bluetooth and synced no issues with Android / apple devices alike. In terms of battery at 60% volume or so, it does go over 10 hours pretty easy. That will reduce at higher volume levels. When the battery goes low, the blue light on the unit will flash orange. With that said, charging via USB type C is pretty painless and quick, normally from dead to full Battery in a couple of hours. In all we are happy with the device. Sound output while not massive is great enough for us in a mid size bathroom at medium level. It looks attractive and discreet, is waterproof and the battery life is reasonable. In all we are really pleased with the device after few months of use.

Back in the 80s/90s I remember Creative was the go to company for good quality sound on your computer. Was very surprised they are still around, and still provide excellent sound quality that doesn't break the bank. This portable speaker has some good sound and bass for it's size and price. Battery seem to be good, as just charged it once when I took it first time out the box 3 weeks ago and still have around 70% left, which equals around 4-5hours usage so far. Overall happy with this speaker for what it is used for the odd music listening in the kitchen while cooking.

The other reviews mentioned the amount of bass but I was sceptical. I was also wrong. They are very impressive speakers. I have one on each side of the bed and they’re plenty loud enough for that. They bass is rich, the clarity of the stereo separates is good and it’s quick and easy to pair them together.

I’ll get this bit out of the way, this is not a bass heavy speaker... I’m comparing this to my Bose soundlink speaker which was 4 times the price but produces much lower bass tones. If you want more bass, buy the larger UE/Bose/etc speakers but at much more cost! HOWEVER, everything else is massively positive! The mids and treble are fantastic. I’ve bought the speaker for my daughter and was blown away by the sound straight out of the box without being bed in. Even on full volume there’s no distortion or clipping, just clean clear loud sound. Build quality is impressive and it has a nice feel to the speaker and buttons. The lower bass levels don’t take away from the quality of sound and quality for the cost hence it getting 5 stars!

This is second one of these I have purchased as unfortunately the first got dropped quite a few times & affected the sound, this is a very good speaker with excellent sound quality and good bass! It comes with me when I cook, when I want to chill in the bath, on days out to the beach and barbecues, couldn’t live without it! Great battery life & I love it.

I bought this speaker on offer as i already had one and wanted to pair them together. has solid sound quality with a good battery you dont have to worry about getting wet either. i would say i would like to see an update to these in the future maybe like a mini boombox

I'm using this speaker as a PC speaker. It's not powerful or loud enough. Sound quality is decent. It disconnects very quickly if you don't use the PC few minutes. Turning on requires pressing on on/off button for like 5 seconds. Very annoying.

The sound has to be 4 out of 5 as you could pay a lot more for a better base but I think you'll find it hard to find better clarity, usability and sound quality for the money. 2 speakers will pair together to give you great portable waterproof stereo sound without the low frequency or distortion that would just annoy neighbours. Charge cables are also supplied but no PSU. Any usb port on a laptop, PC or portable charge unit will work. To pair the speakers is simple, turn the first speaker on and after it plays the start up sound double press the power button, turn the second speaker on and after the start up sound, the first speaker will say "right speaker paired", that's it! I place a speaker on the floor at opposite corners of a garden corner sofa and only need the sound at 30% for some great drift away tunes (a bit of Gregory Alan Isakov, Joss Stone or Tracy Chapmen), IMO they help avoid the garden sound wars. These would work equally well indoors or for a picnic.

Produkt spełnia swoje zadanie. Długo wytrzymuje bateria, jedyny minus to- głośny sygnał o włączeniu i wyłączeniu, którego nie można wyciszyć. Poza tym odtwarza w znacznej odległości od źródła. Dobry wybór.

Después de una semana probando el altavoz puedo decir que he acertado con mi compra. El sonido es más alto de lo que me esperaba para el tamaño del altavoz, y muy nítido y sin vibración alguna. La vinculación con los dispositivos es sencilla, y la duración de la batería está dentro de lo entendible. Me ha durado algo menos de lo mencionado, pero teniendo en cuenta que tenía el volumen alto entra dentro de lo entendible. Por lo que he visto en las instrucciones existe la posibilidad de vincular dos altavoces entre ellos para crear un sistema 2.0. No he podido probar esta opción al no tener dos altavoces, pero no descarto adquirir otro. El nivel de acabados me ha parecido muy bueno para un altavoz de este precio, no teniendo nada que envidiar a otros productos más caros, y el cerramiento del puerto de carga está bien diseñado para que no entre agua. Como peros indicaría el cable de carga del mismo, que podría ser un poco mejor, y la dificultad para acceder al puerto de carga del altavoz. De todas formas, esta dificultad para acceder al puerto de carga es lo que asegura la estanqueidad del altavoz así que me parece entendible. En general la valoración del altavoz me parece muy positiva, con una buena calidad de acabado, facilidad de uso y un precio muy atractivo.

Tenuto conto del costo esiguo, 30 euro, il prodotto è proprio azzeccato. Piccolo, robusto, di fattura accettabile, funzionamento semplice ed immediato, batteria che tocca le 10 ore. Non mi spingo sulle immersioni in acqua. Come suona? Direi bene, niente suono scatolare o approssimato. Medi e alti sono chiari, piacevoli. La gamma bassa un pelo indietro, ma ci sono. Non aspettiamoci la gamma più profonda. Personalmente lo trovo perfetto per ascoltare musica in sottofondo, a volume basso, capace di dare colonna sonora alla giornata. Dando un suono discreto, piacevole, mai invasivo. Punti deboli non ne trovo sinceramente, tenendo conto che è un prodotto economico. E' stato progettato proprio bene
