Item has very basic colors, but has a great (and true) medium shades of blush and bronzer. Everything is matte except one eyeshadow (I would call it satin). Lip gloss is a little minty (not uncomfortable). The packaging is on the cheaper side with magnetic closure (I would advise taping it down or something), but it will endure quite a bit.I use this as my traveling makeup kit.
