No printer ink is value for money!!
I think it might be worthwhile sacrificing my new cartridge before I install it by melting a tiny hole in the top, then injecting it with some bulk black in I bought some years ago, then resealing it with tape. Then every so often, topping it up without removing the cartridge from it's bed.If it works, only then will it be worth buying the coloured cartridges.... As at £3,235 a litre is madness, it's only a fifth of the price of 22ct gold by weight!!!
