Great replacement for LG dishwasher
Easy to install. Works great. Iy issue is that the pump has a little whistling noise when running. No fault to this once since the original pump did the same thing

Works perfectly
Works great. Resolved my issue of dishwasher not draining all the way. And now dishes are cleaner. The only issue I have is this may not be authentic lg product. And could be a “knockoff”. I say this because the numbers are different and it doesn’t say LG like the original did. It works perfectly though and is simple to replace. I’m happy with it

Perfect Fit
I tried a less expensive drain pump and was disappointed of course. So I purchased this pump, installed it, tested it and everything is now running great. Thank you for an OEM product!I had to return and trade for another since the first one stopped draining after one try. The second one is working great. I would also suggest that anyone replacing this pump also replace the flapper valve at the same time. I found that our flapper actually became warped and concave as well as shrunk. It's worth the extra effort. I got the flapper valve here on Amazon as well and that works great also. It drains well and no more backflow.

Fits LG LDP6797ST/00 Whew!
The product description doesn't specifically say it fits model LDP6797ST/00 but it does. I took a gamble on this one because it looks identical to the OEM part that's ~$70 - $90 through part distributors. I received the dreaded OE error and the Smart Diagnosis through the LG ThinQ App confirmed it was the pump. Upon initial inspection, it sounded like the pump had a bad bearing and it was seizing every time it tried to initiate. A few whacks with the end of my screw driver got it to unseize to run 1 more cycle before I replaced it. Which is great if your like me and you have a sink full of dishes waiting to be washed and need to run the dishwasher first. When replacing, TURN BREAKER OFF FIRST, unplug power cable and turn clockwise with all of your might. Once the old one is off, make sure you prepare for water to come out. Most LG dishwashers have a water tray under the pump and hose area, if this tray fills up with water..guess what? (after you turn the breaker back on) Another Error code! this time you will get the AE error code. This happens if the tray fills up with water. I painstakingly soaked up the water through a little space that I could access and eventually was able to reset the alarm by pressing the power button. If the dishwasher doesn't turn off.. keep soaking up water. It will turn off once the water is gone. PS I did this without pulling the dishwasher out from under the cabinet, which is probably why it was a pain to get it all. Make sure you take the rubber gasket ring off the old pump and place it on the new pump because the new one didn't come with one. All in all took me about an hour to replace it with water cleanup. If I didn't have that to deal with it would of been 20 minutes at most. Love that this was under 50 bucks so it's not a deal breaker if I have to do it again in 2 years.
