Love These!
I purchased the 16 ounce containers for use when freezing large batches of soup and stew. I think they work perfectly! I ladle the hot soup in, pop the lids on, and put them directly into the freezer. When it's time to eat them you just take them out of the freezer, pop the container directly into the microwave (after removing the lid, of course) and microwave away. No need for thawing.The reason these get four instead of five stars is that they do get flexible when hot liquids are in them. They don't collapse or spill, but you need to be careful. Just be delicate and there won't be any issues. Also, the lids are not a tight fit. This is fine for me, since I freeze the soup and microwave it from frozen, but don't plan to take anything liquid in them for any distance. The lid may pop off.I really enjoy these for giving family members leftovers since there is no need to return the container!

Total waste of money
I thought I was ordering the bowls with lids. I was going to use for soups in catering. Turns out I only ordered the bowls so had to go back and order lids. Just tried to use them this week and they are so packed together that I couldn't even get them apart without messing up the top..then the lid wont begin to stay on. Total waste of money. Now to find out Amazon will take back the bowls but I'm stuck with the lids because of time frame of orders. I will not order again.

Make sure you order correct bowl for this lid
WE bought these lids to fit the 16 ounce size bowl we purchased from Stalk Market, assuming that it would work together. But clearly not the 16-ounce bowl we ordered. And it is too late to be refunded.Otherwise, I love the idea of using compostable dishes. We were trying to be environmentally friendly! But the lids were an issue.

LIDS ONLY, LIDS ONLY, LIDS ONLY
The quality seems fine but I just wanted to get your attention. I did not see the word lids at the end of the long description when i ordered these for my sons birthday party which I made chili. I kept them even though the box they sent them to me in was apparently already opened and returned ( i am guessing for the same reason). I am using them for crafts i guess. not sure how they work and wish the packaging didn't look like I got someones return.

Great for taking to work & eco friendly too!
I bring my oatmeal to work each day in this and it microwaves great, and then no dishes to wash afterwards! I also like that it is biodegradable made from sugar cane fiber.

Much smaller than anticipated
This bowl is very small - much too small to hold even a modest amount of soup. Make sure you review the actual dimensions of the bowl before you purchase.
