Works great
This is a pretty decent BT speaker. The sound is very loud and clear, with very little distortion. If anything, it is a little too loud. The buttons have a very positive mechanical click and they correctly control my Android phone's play/pause/skip/rewind functions. Having to hold the forward/reverse to adjust volume is a little fussy if you just want to adjust it a little. I'll occasionally accidentally skip forward rather than turning the volume up because I don't quite hold it for long enough. The battery lasts for about 2 weeks worth of showers, which is better than I expected. My one true complaint is that the power-up-and-connect and disconnect-and-power-down sound effects are way too loud and shrill. It scares the cats every time.Otherwise, a very good value.

Just Wow...
EDIT 12/29/2014:Well, this thing worked great for about five months or so. Then the power button stopped working completely. I tried to contact the seller and Amazon to get a replacement, because it was my assumption that this is the anomaly. Neither returned responded, so I went through the Amazon process to get this product simply switched. It's been two or three months since then and I haven't heard of anything. I loved this thing a lot, but lack of communication has been frustrating. I still say that this has to be something rare, but a couple people have the same review that the power button stops working. In terms of quality, all I really listen to is sports talk radio and podcasts. I don't use this for music all that much. Great for sports talk.Battery life ends up being about 5-6 hours. So, depending upon how long you use it each day will determine how long it lasts. I started using it as my every day speaker when getting up in the morning. I could leave my phone charging while I got ready for work in the morning while traveling. The phone could stay charging (I don't charge my phone over night) while I showered, shaved, got dressed, and ate before I took off for the day.But...if it doesn't last more than a couple months for anyone...-------(Original Review)This thing works so well. But, make sure, if it sounds garbled at first, don't worry. Disconnect your device from the Aqua Audio and reconnect via Bluetooth. It initially for every new device is very stuttery and it was a turn off, but I realized as long as you disconnect and reconnect, it turns perfect.PROS: It is very portable and I take it with me on business trips so I can listen to podcasts and audiobooks in the hotel bathrooms without bringing in my phone and potentially dropping it in the shower ...again :-(CONS: The audio level for the chime when you turn it on, when a Bluetooth device connects, and when you turn the AquaAudio off cannot be set to lower than roughly 766db. Okay, that might be an exaggeration, but it is at full volume no matter what. If you wake up earlier than your significant other and the bathroom doesn't hold sound in very well, they WILL hear it.

Falls off shower wall
The suction cup leaves much to be desired. It will not stay stuck on a wall for longer than 5 minutes, especially with music playing. The volume control is awkward. You have to hold the Forward or Backward button for 5 seconds for it to start changing the volume. Anything less will skip the track. I find myself constantly trying to find the sweet spot for volume change while constantly inadvertently skipping tracks. It's just a pain in general to use.The sound is good though.

FANTASTIC!!
This speaker with bluetooth is the best I have bought. It is LOUD.... I mean it.... it is louder than full sized speakers with amplifiers.Another great feature is the suction cup and being splash proof. This combined with being so loud means I can stick it to the tiles in the shower and be able to listen to the lectures and audio books I love to listen to without the sound being drowned out by the sound of the water and lathering. Furthermore, since I use my smart phone to do all this, if I get a call I can also push a button on the speaker to answer the call and hang up and I can even dial back the last call if I need to.The bluetooth connection was extremely easy to set up the first time and it always connects every time I turn it on. Also the range is long. I had the phone on a chair on one end of the pool and the speaker worked perfectly on the other end of the pool even while being inside a Ziplock bag.The battery life is great too. It lasts all day if I turn it off between listening sessions. For continuous listening it lasts over five hours which is the longest I have tried so far. I am sure it can last the documented 6 hours.I loved it so much that I bought two more for family members who also are loving them.

Poor Sound
I purchased this after reading many reviews. The Majority of the poor reviews appeared to be about volume, which other reviews addressed so I went ahead with the purchase. I however was not satisfied with the sound. I will preface that with I expected good quality, not BOSE quality. The sound that came out was choppy, slightly distorted and uncomfortable to listen to. I had my iPhone within 5 feet of the speaker and it felt as if I was listening to a tape recording off the radio. I really only wanted it to listen to books also - I wasn't looking for a music hall version of a symphony. I returned the speaker.
