is it smooth or do you feel the glitter?

It is not smooth at all. It is unprotected gritty glitter. The image looks like it is pure gold glitter, but actually, it is patchy white, gold, and sparse silver glitter. Very cheap looking!

What is the lock key for?

It's just there in case you want to lock your purse? In case it's stolen.? But mostly decor? You can take it off or leave it on?

What are the measurements?

The purse measures 10x8 but the bottom across from the front to the back (which is the part that the purse sits on) is five inches wide. Which means it holds more than you think with that room. Hope that helps. I’ve gotten many compliments on my purse.

How long is the shoulder strap?

The shoulder strap is customary to a regular shoulder bag. I am 5'10" and the bag hits near my hip.
