scissors are amazingly easy to use and to clean. and the other thing (don't know what it's called) works as a slicing guide and........a baked potato perforator. One easy little push and they don't "blow" in the oven nor do they dry out in the microwave like slitting with a knife.Both are very well constructed, and appear to be made with pride and high end materials. A real bargain at ANY PRICE.

The scissors have a high quality finish and good weight to them. They are extremely sharp and easy to clean!

Solid, smooth scissors

I suppose it really depends on who sharpens it when it needs to be, but mine hasnt needed it and im hard on it. Its not the wife's 1st choice due to the metal handles. But she loves the edge and ease of cutting.Best value ive found in a kitchen knife. Its does OK as shears too. Ive owned several other "good" scissors & shears but these are by far the best for the $$. Its about the smith who sharpens it for you. The factory edge is wonderful. Its holding up well in 1yr. Ive ordered 2 more. One for my shop because they clean up so well and easy.

Sharp with a firm feel when cutting. The blades make even contact along the full cutting surface. Plenty strong for poultry and sharp for trimming other meat or cutting up vegetables. Serrated edges don’t slip on fish or tough bone (I’m not talking beef shank, no shears cut that). Easy to take apart but stand no chance of coming apart while using (I’ve tried). A person would have to have giant hands to open these wide enough to have them come apart while cutting. No plastic makes sure they are really clean. I can’t think what advantages the more expensive models could have, and I think these are much better made than the inexpensive alternatives.

These scissors are comfortable to use despite being all metal. I used these scissors to replace my old kitchen shears because the plastic on the old ones got an unpleasant, tacky feel.I love these shears! Sharp, nice feel in the hand and they only come apart when you want them to. Easy to clean. Favorite pair ever!
