I have this collagen supplement on auto reorder. It has all the types of collagen needed, no fillers, easily swallowed & never had any issues with it at all. It's not overpriced. I have fingernail Dystrophy. Since taking collagen for the past couple of years, my nails are stronger w/ less ridges & irregularities.

I use the capsules and wife prefers the powder. I had inadvertently ordered her powder but not the type 1 2 3 4 5. It wasn't working on her back pain so I ordered the correct one and it is working. I take these as more of a hair vitamin supplement than anything else. I do have a few joint issues but I haven't noticed any difference while taking these. As for the hair supplement aspect, collagen tends to make my hair grow like wildfire... Everywhere... So it can be a bit of a gift and a curse. I was using a different brand prior to this which gave good results but it was fairly expensive and was getting harder and harder to find. These pills offer a great value for the price and I haven't seen a change in the results. Aside from the hair, I will also say that I've noticed a difference in my skin. I have dry skin but an oily face which is very prone to acne and blackheads. While that hasn't really changed, my face does seem to be a bit more firm with fewer wrinkles.

I tried a cheaper collagen product and didn't realize that it contained only Type II collagen. I read the label once I'd noticed my fingernails splitting! Now I'm back to this collagen, which contains all types. I'm looking forward to stronger nails and hair quite soon. This product came recommended by many people for joint pain, and hair/nail growth. I find them extremely difficult to swallow so I only take one daily. I had high hopes for this product. I hate the gritty chalky feeling of collagen powder stirred into my coffee, juice, etc. I hoped a capsule would be much better. Some days I cannot get them down.While it's only been a few weeks I can't comment on anything other than my nails - which have greatly improved. My knees, hips, spine, and hands appear to be aching/hurting more than usual. Perhaps it is the weather. I will give it a few more weeks to see if the excessive, amplified pain lessens a bit.
