Read the book to my 7 year old in a full hour with water breaks LOL! Overall easy read a few words you will have to explain however the big words already equipped in the text were already elaborated. 7 year old understood everything from A to Z and enjoyed the comparison the book provided regarding Gandhi MLK and Nelson Mandela. I got a little teary eyed at the end. Beauty behind A painful history..

Excellent history lesson for both children and adults alike

Book was a great tool for my students to learn about racial injustice and the impact of Nelson Mandela had on his people.

Love these books. My son, who is 9 has been reading them for a little over a year now and this book is wonderful. I must say that this one is not one of his favorites. He is a history junkey, lol. He so far seems to love the Jackie Robinson, Teddy Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, Robert E Lee, What is the world series the best as a 8 and 9 year old.I also read these to him in the evenings and I really enjoy them as a 40 year old father. I have learned so much from them as well. Sometimes I read them before or after my son in order to have an educated discussion with him about the subject of the book. I really also get alot out of them as well.

The book was delivered timely and appeared the same as on the website. I would purchase from this seller again.

The biography is complete and interesting for young learners. I bought them for students who learn English as a second language and they are suitable for them.

My children read the book and learned a great deal. It’s like History written for children between the ages of 7 and 12. We order a few of these books when schools were closed - during the Corona pandemic as a way to continue their education.

Brilliant as part of a set of books I’m using for home education. Very easy to read and holds attention, whilst giving correct information in a way that is easily absorbed. Definitely recommend for primary aged children.

The book truly captures the essence of a great life. The sacrifices and struggles of a great man have been succinctly encapsulated.
