quality charger with nice features
So I had a Protechi that died and I needed a replacement. I have a 29' open bow boat, kept in-water during the season. It has shore power and a galvanic isolator. I have a 12v fridge that gets used on occasion as well. This charger has some nice features compared to the big brand. First, it will work with only one battery connected, regardless of which channel it is connected to. So if you have a fuse blow or battery dies, the charger will continue to charge the other bank. Here is the most important feature for a wet slipped boat- once the batteries are fully charged the unit goes into monitor mode (float). As soon as there is a draw on the batteries, it immediately pops back out of monitor mode and into charge mode. The big brand does not do that. Very important for a wet slipped boat if a leak develops and the bilge pump starts cycling, this guy will wake up and keep the battery charged as the pump runs. And unlike the big brand, it does not time out and shut down if the batteries don't reach full charge. Well done.

Good, but be careful with the multi-bank units.
This charger uses quality materials (tinned wire, etc) and has some very nice features. I particularly like the voltage input range (90 - 240v). The leads are a bit short. Customer support is responsive. The biggest downside is, however, that it is not really a multi-bank charger. It only senses the state-of-charge from bank 1, and assumes that the other bank's status is comparable. If one's banks have different capacities, or different usage profiles, this results in behavior ranging from disappointing to dangerous.Depending on the configuration, this may result in a) the charger allowing bank 2 to go flat; or b) as in my case, bank 2 being overcharged with all the associated risks of fire or explosion. My rather expensive AGM's were being charged almost continuously at 15.7v because the capacity and discharge rate of bank 1 were much higher than that of bank 2.In hindsight, I should have considered buying two of their single-bank chargers.Update, the unit is now unreliable and needs to be disconnected and reconnected from ac power regularly to get it out of error state. Not recommended.

Excellent for Odyssey and Optima AGM batteries
Updated: Company has gone out of business. Finally failed and I wanted to buy a new one. Not possible. One of the few chargers on the market that are designed to properly charge AGM+ batteries like the Odyssey and Optima brands.I permanently connected both banks together so I could get 20A continuous output to charge my large Odyssey Extreme battery in my truck.I plan on bolting the charger to a plate of Aluminum and add a carrying handle to make it more portable friendly.Since it uses a high frequency power conversion supply, the input current is always less than 5A, so you could run a 100ft AC extention cord if you needed to.

This charger is simply the best I have come across
This charger is simply the best I have come across. It recharges my Lifeline AGM 100% every time and does it quickly, even faster than the bigger or more powerful chargers I have used in the past. The installation was easy. All the labels and lights are intuitive. It took me less than 30 minutes to install and get it running. I also really like the solid waterproof construction. Again, I have gone through a handful of waterproof chargers in my years, and this is the unit I would recommend.

Used for my trolling and starting batteries
One of the best chargers on the market. Recommended by a custom boat builder that I know. Love that can plug it in and leave it, knowing it will not damage my batteries. I’ll report back after this season on the water
